Tanjirou hastily looks around him, sweat dripping from his forehead down to his chin.
What was that..? The boy thought.
Just a few seconds ago, he was locked in a trance. All he could see around him was darkness with a red glowing smiley face staring at him and the next thing he knew... it was gone.
The young demon slayer calms himself down and remembers his training with Urokudaki-san. He takes a few deep breathes in, then a few deep breaths out. He puts his hand in his chest, feeling his heart beat. As it slowed down, he too also felt more calm and relaxed. Tanjirou looks around for a good building to jump onto. His eyes lock onto the building behind him and he makes a leap for it.
His feet hit the gravel that covered the top of the building and he kept hopping one roof to the next.
