"..and Ebuka was like 'ess,you,don't you know how to greet your seniors',not knowing that it was the new Agric teacher", I said,
"So you mean the Agric teacher was that short that he looked like a student", Teni said as she burst into laughter,
"I'm serious, it was that funny,and the worst part was that even after everybody told him,Ebuka did not want to believe oh,my guy chop cane that day ehn",I say and Teni just keeps laughing even harder.
We were still on our great adventure, yeah,the tour and we had seen most of the main attractions,the labs where the Mr Ope,our young Biology teacher practically flirted with Teni (yeesh),the offices of the teachers she would be seeing,and our sports facilities where we were just coming from.
"So you won't be playing any sport?",I ask her,
"Nope, I'm not that good with sports, besides, how many months do I have to spend here,with reading and all",she replies before continuing,
"But the basketball court looks dope, might come watch some guys play once in a while",
"Guys abi,it seems like you like sweat and fights because the basketball court turns to UFC real quick in our school",I tell her,
"Ahh, this your school seff, it's like there's nothing normal",she says,and as she ends her statement, I spot Sir Meshach(he insists we call him Sir for some unknown reason),our schools very own Hobbit, mini sized human, dwarf, imp,i like Hobbit the most,because he doesn't have any beards.
"That's him, try not to laugh, straight face or that's the end of the tour and your life",I say and give Teni a very straight smile,
We keep walking until we get to him, he just ended a call and is looking at his phone, I could swear I saw him on the Bet9ja website, definitely,he looks up to see us(as in,he looks way up), and puts off his phone,
"Sir Meshach, good morning sir" I tell him,
"Good morning sir",Teni says with a slight nod,
"How are you Damoo?",he asks me,
"Ahh I'm fine sir, this one that you're just growing fresher,are we safe?",I say to him, he's like one of the friendly teachers,
"Ohh, this is my problem with you SS3 students, always whining, see, be careful oh, the grass in the farm is overgrown and I need menial labour", he says,
"Ahh sir noo,I don't know how to weed oh",I reply and he gives a mild chuckle,
"Is this the new student?,Temi abi Toma", he says,the man has a habit of always mispronouncing names,
"It's Teni sir", she says to him with a very big smile on her red face, I tell she's trying to hold in her laughter,
"Ohh,Taeni(still mispronounced),beautiful name,you're a science student abi?,how are you?",he says,hands in his pocket,neck turned all the way up, this man is friggin short,
"I'm fine sir", Teni replies,
"I look forward to seeing you in my class ehn,I hope you're offering Agric?",he asks and after she nods her head,he continues,"Ok,good,Damola is a bad boy oh,don't let him do you wayo wayo",he says with a smile and Teni is finally able to let out a bit of the laughter,
