(Yn Barns. Your 5'4, 1941) I stood by Steve after Buck walked away. "You know I really do want to go in the war." He mumbled, "I know and I think you'll do good. We just have to find someone who will see your talent." I said, he smiled at me and I smiled back. "But your brother obviously doesn't believe I can." "Who cares what he thinks. He just doesn't want you getting hurt." "Yeah because he cares about you. I do to but I understand." I said smiling, he cupped my face and I felt a blush crawl on my cheeks. A man coughed and we pulled apart blushing. "I over here your conversation. Do you want to go to war?" A German voice said. "Yes sir..." "go get another physical," he said then walked away, me and Steve looked at each other, "that was weird. But you should do it I have a feeling." I said he pulled me into a hug. I smiled into a hug and took into his scent. We pulled away and I smiled at him. "I'll walk you home." "Thanks, I'd like that" I said, we walked and talked about random things. Then we arrived at my door, "I uh do you want to spend the night?" "Sure!" He said, We walked into the house and snuck him up the stairs, let's just say my parents aren't found of him. We entered my room and shut the door. "When will Buck be back?" "I don't know. But let's play a game." We took out cards and gambled with feathers. There was a knock then Buck asking if I was decided. "I'm good. Come in" I said he opened the door, "are y'all gambling with feathers?" He laughed out, "well we don't have money so... you wanna play?" "Hell yeah" he sat down and we played again. "Alright. I bail I'm going to bed." I said trowing my cards down. I grabbed my night gown and walked to the bathroom changed. I walked out and walked to my room. I grabbed (a) pillow(s) from my bed and laid them in the floor getting a blanket resting my head on them. "Your not sleeping on your bed?" "Nah I'm having a sleep over!" I said and they both laughed slightly. We all laid down and went to sleep. ~7:30~ I open my eyes and look around. Just then Steve and Buck sat up rubbing there eyes. Mom opened the door and glared at Steve. "We have to drop James off" She said, I nodded and we all got up, I stretched and we left to go get dressed. I dressed in a green dress then put black flats on and washed up. ~time skip~ "You two. Don't do anything stupid till I get back." "How can we? Your taking all the stupid with you" Steve said, we all laughed slightly and I hugged Bucky. "Please be safe. I love you so much." I said tears rolling down my cheeks. "I will. I love you too" he said kissing my head, I hugged him again and he wipes away some of my tears and his hand finally parts mine. Steve hugged me from behind and I turned around and hugged him. "I have to go to that physical. I'll see you later" he kissed my cheek and I blushed madly. He walked away and I turned around. After a few minutes Steve was running to me shouting 'Yn! Yn! Yn!' I looked up at him and he smiled, "I got in!" "You did?! That's great!!!" I shouted and jumped up. He picked me up and spun me around. "Woah when did you ha e that strength?" "Your 17 and weigh 83 pounds" "yeah, yeah. I wish I could come but you know. But I'm excited for you!" I said smiling, "I leave later today though." "O-oh. Uh I thought...." "yeah I know. But I'll write to you." I nodded and hugged him. ~small time skip~ I walked down the road kicking a rock. "Hey." That German voice said from earlier. "Sir?" "You want to go to war?" "Yes sir but I'm a woman." "But they don't have to know your a woman." I smiled and he told me what to do. I invited him to my house and I made him tea and went upstairs. 'Ma, Pa, I'm going on a trip I don't know when I'll be back. Love y'all' I wrote, I bandage my chest making my breast unnoticed. I grabbed a shirt I stole from Steve, some brown pants, boots, and a belt. I grabbed a knife and cut my hair.
