Tanjirou POV
I guess it's that time of the year again. Like last year I didn't expect anything special, I'd already gotten used to not spending the Christmas with my family. Actually, Christmas time meant harder work for me usually. People needed more coal for one, since all of their fires had to be lit on Christmas Day. Not to mention food, food on holidays was always a nightmare. Especially when we didn't have enough money, it wasn't the fact I was missing out on a meal, but the fact I had to look at my younger siblings and tell them myself that we wouldn't be able to have a large meal. But this year is different... Right?

Switching to narrative... EHEM!

The trio walked across the path as they always did, headed towards a cheaper motel they had found. This time they were close to a bright town, where even at night the brightness made no difference. Not too far away the town lit up the night from the bottom of the hill. The winding road slowly started coming to an end as the motel became closer. As Tanjirou and his friends stopped to admire the beautiful town Zinetsu sighed and gazed at the town in awe. "Isn't it wonderful?", Tanjirou looked sideways to face Zinetsu and smiled, "It's amazing!". Even when Christmas wasn't in season the town looked beautiful. "The Christmas lights make it look extra bright! Hmmm, I wonder how Christmas will go this year?" Zinetsu exclaimed, excited for the holiday ahead. "What the hell is Christmas?" Inosuke mumbled. No one really heard him, but Zinetsu having the ears he has, did. His eye twitched as he slowly turned his gaze towards Inosuke.

"What did you just say?" Zenitsu looked furious. "What the hell is Christmas?" Inosuke repeated, still admiring the town. Even Tanjirou and Nezuko were looking now, slightly shocked, "Say that to my face..." Zenitsu looked as if he was going red by the minute, edging closer to exploding. Inosuke sighed, turned his face meeting Zenitsu's angry gaze and repeated one last time, " What. The hell. Is. Christmas?". Little did he know he had just caused a friction in Zinetsu.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT HELL IS CHRISTMAS YOU RUFFIAN, HAVE YOU LIVED ON THE MOUNTAINS YOUR WHOLE LIFE OR A ROCK?! YOU NEVER WONDERED ABOUT THE BRIGHT LIGHTS FROM NEAR BY TOWNS OR EVEN THINK TO QUESTION IT?! I'M SHOOK, THIS IS A TRAVESTY!". Zinetsu didn't hold back at all, even Inosuke starting sweating at what he just heard and saw. Nezuko had shuffled over, hiding behind her big brother. Tanjirou looked at Zinetsu with that same 'wtf' face. After sighing and face palming himself Tanjirou turned to Inosuke and smiled, " Let me explain, OK?".

Tanjirou's POV

Alright, I'm no Christmas master but I'll give it a shot since Zinetsu still looks so offended. "Basically, it's a holiday where people gather with their families and exchange gifts. There's decorations and lights, the most traditional decoration being a Pine tree with ornaments and tinsel wrapped around it. There's even a tale that a man who goes by Santa climbs down your chimney and leaves you the presents from your wish lists, and he has a whole community of elves to help him". I hope that was good enough.

Inosuke looked at me like I was a demon. "So your telling me a man breaks into your house to leave you gifts under a tree?" Inosuke sounded utterly confused. I gulped, " umm, yes. But really it's the family time that counts". We stared at each other for a good two minutes at one point he took of his mask just to show how confused he was. The staring went on, eventually my face got hot staring at him for so long and I looked away. "Sounds like I'm adding him to my kill list" Inosuke went on as he put his mask back on.
At this point Zinetsu looked terrified, "NOOO! WHY DO YOU EVEN HAVE A KILL LIST?! AM I ON IT?! OH GOD, I AM AREN'T I-"
Zinetsu just went on and on up to the point I was carrying him to the house.
