The ghost white coloration on the Nomu was abnormal. It horrified Izuku for some reason, along with the horns that were brazenly misplaced on its head. But that wasn't his main focus. Instead it was dodging its mad charge towards him. It's feet pounded against the ground, causing the ground to shake subtly. He easily got out of the Nomu's way by flying into the air. He should've been burning the top of his head off, but it didn't happen. He watched as wings sprouted from its back, his eyes widened as it took flight. "I thought you birds were flightless," it lunged at him, its hands were interlocked behind Izuku's back, bringing him along for the ride as it flew to the wall. He grabbed the horn placed in the center of its skull and the one a couple inches to the left before steering it to the right, directly out through the hole he created. "But I guess I was wrong!" His right palm began glowing before a beam of energy lit the horn on fire before evaporating it. It screeched. The sound coming from the Nomu made Izuku's stomach churn with disgust. His right eardrum burst from how loud it was. He could've sworn some liquid dripped out as they crashed into the ground
He reeled his right hand back and swung into the creature's face, pushing it off from on top of him with the force put behind it. If he swung without his suit on it would be pitiful, but thanks to his suit he had the weight of the armor and the speed of the booster in his elbow it was strong enough to flatten an iron ingot. And it was strong enough to cause a sickening crack to sound from the Nomu's jaw. However, he wasn't expecting to be flown back a few hundred feet by a swift kick. He wasn't expecting to split a tree in half just by colliding with it, but that's exactly what happened. It fell on top of him, the sharp ends of the dry sticks would've easily pierced his skin, but he was more resilient than that...and it obviously wasn't due to the suit he wore. The sound of screeching metal filled his ears as his armor plates scraped against the branches. This was because he decided it'd be best to fly towards the Nomu while preparing another punch. There was no reasoning behind it, something he'd been instructed to do multiple times during his mock battles with Katsuki. But this was a situation he needed to think for. It obviously had multiple powers, seeing as it's skin turned into a metallic substance. It shattered his wrist making his hand go limp. The shockwave should've gone through his arm and broken a few more bones, but there was some padding in his hand that absorbed the impact. However, there wasn't enough padding to completely reduce the impact of the Nomu hitting him in the back.
It stamped its foot down onto his right shoulder, pinning him down and sticking him to the ground. "Let me go!" Izuku yelled out, activating the booster in his elbow. The flame wasn't long enough to reach the foot of the creature, so he diverted more power to it. It easily cloaked the foot and up to the ankle of the Nomu in fire. Almost all of the propellant was used within it as indicated by the warning coming from his visor. But it was worth it, for the creature got off of him. With the opening he created, he spewed a beam of energy from his hand and blasted the Nomu's weakened leg off. Sure, he was weak himself. But he was strengthened by the warped iron wrapped around him. And the iron allowed him to destroy creatures like this with some ease. It made the playing ground even between the two...or at least easier for Izuku. Which it clearly was...until he watched as the leg began to convulse on the ground. It began to grow, taking shape of the Nomu currently roiling in pain from in front of him. He backed off and viewed it's mitosis-like division from above. It only took 43 seconds for the Nomu to be split in two. It's cell division was rapid, rapid enough to build up an exact duplicate from just a leg. Somehow, their movements were completely synced. "Huh...that's a weird quirk," Izuku didn't have time to think as the two began to assault him. One of them stayed on the ground tossing hunks of ground at him, while the other took the fight up to him. Using it's horns and claws against him. He easily blocked the horns and dodged the claws, but he noticed something wrong with this one. It was the original one. The horn that was placed on the center of its head was filed down to almost nothing, which was the exact amount of damage he did to it earlier. "It clearly doesn't have a regenerative factor," he threw a left hook and blasted the chunk of rock that was hurtling at him from below. "Otherwise its horns would be perfectly fine..." He took a moment to think up a way to destroy them. The only thing that came to mind was the powerful blast he could release from his chest. Seeing as carbonizing them would do nothing, he had to do something else. He would have to get them both in one easy move, otherwise he'd be dead after hitting just one of them.
