(my dad decided to turn off the wifi last night so i couldn't write anything and all that i did write didn't save so i'm sorry it's crappy and late 🤠)

+ you and jack were still in love with each other without knowing
+ things between you two were getting better though
    ~ your best friend made you talk to him
    ~ what happened was that you had to pick study partners for a small project in class
    ~ it was a one time thing for just that week
+ he looked kinda confused so you offered to help him with it
+ inside he was freaking out but he just nodded and smiled
+ you began to explain it all
+ jack being jack payed no attention and stared at you the whole time
+ when you finished you looked at him to say something but he didn't even notice
    ~ "jack?"
    ~ "oh shit sorry-"
    ~ "did you get any of that?"
    ~ "...no"
+ you just sigh and go through it again, this time with him listening
+ you ask him every few minutes if he understands 
+ he says yes but actually doesn't
+ he doesn't want to annoy you
+ after the class is dismissed you make a bold move 
+ "here's my number in case you need anymore help"
+ "thanks, i'll call you"
+ both of you were freaking out inside
+ that was the last class of the day so you and your best friend were freaking out on the way home
+ they were congratulating you and cheering, basically making a HUGE deal out of it
    ~ but you were okay w it because you were obviously very happy
+ jack went home and actually memorized your number
+ he didn't end up calling you that night
+ but he planned to ask you to hang out the next day at school
+ as soon as he got to school he tried to find you
+ jack found you in the library
+ you were working on some homework bc you had a free period for your first period
+ he lowkey skipped class lmao
    ~ of course he didn't notice 
+ he sat down next to you while you worked
    ~ you were so concentrated that you didn't even notice
+ he thought it was really cute how focused you were
+ he tapped your shoulder and scared the shit out of you
    ~ "JA-"
    ~ he cut off your yell by covering your mouth
    ~ "jesus you scared me"
    ~ "i'm sorry"
    ~ both of you laughing 
+ "what do you need?"
+ "well i was wondering if you wanted to grab something to eat after school"
+ "like today?"
+ "yes 'like' today"
+ "um yeah, i'd love to"
+ "great" :)
