Hello.
I just wanted to take some time to write a special thank you to everyone who has read and commented and voted and supported this story. Believe me when I say, I wouldn't have finished it without the motivation that came from all of you.
Part way through the story, I thought I wasn't going to finish. I was at a moot point and it was killing me inside. I knew where I wanted to go and I knew that I wanted to finish it, but I just couldn't find the plot. Talking it out with my friends and readers and experiencing life helped that.
This story (maybe I should actually call it a book now...) is my baby. Sure, I've written my short stories and excerpts and all except the kitchen sink, but I've never invested so much time and effort into something as much as I did with Starbird. To think it all started in Study Hall late my junior year of high school. I didn't even consider it as a good book until my senior year during my study abroad in Bosnia. And now, I'm done. The day before 2015 and two weeks after I completed my first semester of my sophomore year of college.
Seriously, what is my life right now?
So thank you, each and every one of you who read this for me. Whether you were silent or vocal about your like or concerns, I appreciated it all.
