Jughead broke the hug "you need to go home. Let me give you a ride." I nodded "didn't know you had a motorcycle" Jughead smiled "well now you know" he gave me a helmet I put it on my head. Jughead sat and I sat behind him holding onto him. He stopped front of my house "here we are!" I smiled "thank you Jughead for being here for me" Jughead smiled "of course and text me if you need anything" I nodded "I will" he drove off.
Before I could get in I heard footsteps I turned around and saw Archie. "I'm not gonna ask what you and Betty did at Cheryl's" Archie looked down. I looked at him "I'm asking you right now why did you ask me to homecoming and kiss me?" Archie took a step forward "because I like you it's even more than that I love you Y/N" I shaked my head "if you loved me you wouldn't have kissed Betty!" Archie interrupted me "SHE KISSED ME!" Tears started falling down my eyes "DID YOU PULL AWAY?!" Archie didn't say anything. I scoffed "I knew it. I knew I was one of your projects. You asked me to homecoming and kissed me so then you can break my heart!" Archie shook his head "what? No! Y/N I love you I really do" I looked at him and then looked down "I don't think my heart feels the same way anymore" I walked in my house and closed the door.
And so, it wasn't one heart that broke that night, it was two.
I couldn't sleep late at night so I went to pop's to get something to eat. I found Jughead? I walked up to him. "hey, didn't know you would be here" Jughead laughed "I'm always here" I sat by him "Jughead, I trust you and so I wanted to tell you about my past..." Jughead looked at me. "When I was 3 me, my mom, and dad came to riverdale." Jughead looked confused "so you were in riverdale before?" I nodded "yeah and the house I'm living in right now is the house I used to live in. My dad... he was always drunk. He was the leader of a bad gang that just kills people" Jughead looked down "so your dad was a murder?" I nodded slowly "one night he came home drunk as always but him and my mom had a fight about I don't really remember what but it was dumb. I took a look outside my bedroom to see what was happening. My dad was hitting my mom. She was yelling "LET ME GO" my dad took a gun out of his pocket he put it by her head and-"
A tear fell down my eye and I started shaking. Jughead looked at me "I'm so sorry Y/N..." he hugged me I put my head on his chest and cried "I saw my mom getting shot in the head Jug. I live in the house that my mom got shot in!" Archie came in pop's with Betty. I didn't look at them. I whispered to Jughead "I'm gonna go home." Jughead whispered back "you're not going back to that house. Not after what you told me" I looked at him "what do you mean?" Jughead looked at me "live with me until I find another house for you" I shook my head "no Jughead-" Jughead took my hand "trust me"
