Professor Suppasit raises his eyebrows at that and he probably thinks Gulf was out drinking or something. Honestly, Gulf doesn't mind that everyone thinks he's a player that goes out all weekend. It's a better option for the truth.

Yes, he got his girlfriend pregnant at 18 and their boy was born, when he was 19. Then he comes home one night from an evening shift with a one-year-old Panit in his crib crying with a note on the coffee table that his girlfriend left for America to study and that he should take care of their baby. So the 20-year-old Gulf was left alone with a baby.

Obviously he had to postpone his university plans, needing to earn money, since his parents didn't want to support the biggest mistake of his life.

Two years later, he adores his son and he doesn't mind only having been able to start studying at 22 years old.  In the beginning, it was hard, especially because he had missed his girlfriend but now, it's easier.

More often than not, he still made a fool of himself and other mothers looked at him with a frown, whenever they were in public but he honestly couldn't care less.

People start filling the small room and by the time the last person rushes in, Professor Suppasit has started his PowerPoint presentation already. Gulf's conflicted. He hates Monday mornings but he also loves them because it's Professor Suppasit's seminar.

He actually manages to make every single student listen to his class, although some of them are clearly just staring at him because he's so handsome. He is a man everyone dreams of and his brain is an added bonus to it.

He did his Ph.D. when he was 25 and for some reason, he decided to stay at university as a professor instead of making it in the business industry. No one really knows why but no one complains because he can teach and he looks good. Of course, Gulf has a crush on him too.

Everyone likes him. However, the ring on Professor Suppasit's left ring finger stops anyone who thinks it's appropriate to flirt with their professor.

"Gulf" the smooth voice of the professor startles him, making him lookup. "I don't actually care if you pay attention or not but you don't have to be here if you don't find it interesting."

Shame settles in the pit of Gulf's stomach. He hates being called out in class but he knows that the professor doesn't mean to hurt him. He's right to say that he doesn't have to be there. There's no attendance list.

"I'm sorry" he apologizes and bows his head a little. "I'll concentrate on class now."

Giving him a curt nod, Professor Suppasit returns to teaching and for the first time in a while, Gulf is glad that the class is over. Sighing, he packs up, grabs his now empty cup of iced coffee, and heads for the door.

However, the teacher calls him to stay behind and Gulf feels his insides churn. He can't be late for his next class because that professor is an evil witch, so this really has to go quickly.

"Yes, professor?"

"You're a smart kid. Don't waste your brain on alcohol and late nights. I know it's part of student life but you can't even focus in class" he notes and he actually sounds genuinely worried, not reprimanding.

"It's just been a busy weekend with work and with private matters. I'll be more attentive in class from now on" Gulf promises, although he's not sure he can keep that.

Crossing his legs, the professor leans back into his chair, mustering the younger and Gulf can't help but squirm under his gaze. He's had dreams about his professor and he's not proud that he woke up to creamed underwear before.

"I hope you will. You've got potential and I don't say that to first years a lot" the professor stresses.

Smiling bashfully, Gulf thanks him but then shuffles off, having to get to his other class.

Thankfully, his best friend always reserves a spot in the back for him because no one wants to sit in the front in this one. He barely makes it in time and the professor already squints her eyes at him but he just sits down, sighing in relief.
