"I didn't know you were bisexual" she sighs and for some reason, her whole demeanour changes; she sits up and her expression grows cold.

"I wanted to do this the nice way but I guess not. I want my son. I'm taking him with me to America. I wanted to offer you to come with us but you seem pretty set on staying here. If you won't give him to me, I'll drag you to court. I'm the mom, I'll win anyways and I know you can't afford a lawyer."

Frozen in place, Gulf stares at her. He doesn't even know what to say anymore. At first, he thought they might actually leave this café with a compromise but she's made a complete 180, having changed from her fake lovely self to what she truly is.

She wants the one thing Gulf could never give her. He would never give Panit up. However, she's right about him not being able to afford a lawyer but he will put up a hell of a fight.

Grinding his teeth, he gets up and glares at her. He had been nervous in the beginning of this meeting but now, he just feels utter disgust and hate towards her. Without saying another word, he almost runs out of the café into the cold air.

He starts sprinting then, letting his feet carry him over the slippery pavement. He runs and runs, until he's so out of breath, he's coughing.

What is he supposed to do now?

He can barely afford the lifestyle he has right now. How in the world is he supposed to pay for a lawyer?

After wandering around for an hour, he finally makes his way home and Panit is awake, jumping around him excitedly. Gulf tries to smile as convincingly as possible. Techno gives him a concerned look when he leaves, obviously wanting to know how the meeting went but Gulf doesn't say anything – can't really say anything because if he does, he will start crying.

His whole world just shattered and he doesn't know how to fix it. He's been reduced to a hopeless mess and every time he looks at his son, he just pictures how Pam's gonna rip him out of his arms.

"Hey buddy" he says suddenly after dinner. "Wanna go visit Aura and have a sleepover? You have to promise to sleep soon, though."

Panit's eyes light up in excitement and he nods away, telling him that he would behave. Gulf knows that it's a blatant lie but he doesn't care; he needs Mew right now and the only way he can go to him is to take his son with him.

During the subway ride, he holds him close, wary of all the people going home after a long day of work. Now that he thinks about it, Mew's told him that he's busy with university. He might not even be home.

The closer he gets to Mew's apartment, the worse he feels about this but it's too late to turn around now. He rings the bell at the bottom of the apartment complex and he tries to ignore how nice this place looks. After all, Mew's a professor.

"Who's there?" Mew answers through the speakers.

"Phi, it's me" it's hard to control his voice.

Simply hearing Mew makes him choke up; he really can't hold back his emotions with him. The buzz of the door opening shakes him out of his emotional state for a second and at some point he hears It's the second floor door on the left through the speakers.

Taking Panit into his arms, he quickly walks up the stairs, where Mew's already waiting at the door. Confused yet pleased eyes look at the younger but as soon as they lock eyes, Mew picks up on Gulf's inner turmoil.

"Aura, there's a guest for you" Mew calls her, when they enter his apartment.

It's smaller than Gulf's imagined but not less impressive. Despite the hour, the kids are ecstatic and greet each other happily. Aura drags the younger one to her room to show him all her toys.

"What's going on?" Mew asks in a hushed tone, as soon as the kids are out of range to hear. "I thought you were coming tomorrow?"

"Don't ask me yet" Gulf whispers, barely holding it together. "Wait, until the kids are asleep."

That only makes Mew worry more. He keeps glancing at Gulf, while they watch the kids play. It's even harder to keep up his front in front of the elder. Luckily, they have to go to bed after an hour and Mew offers to put them to bed because he notices that Gulf's nerves are barely even holding together.

As soon as he's alone, Gulf sits down on the couch, staring at the ceiling blankly. He doesn't notice that he's trembling, until Mew takes his hand, when he sits down next to him. Averting his gaze on the elder, Gulf already feels tears run down his face and a thumb trying to wipe them away.

"Gulfie, please, just tell me what it is" Mew pleads gently.

"I'm gonna lose him" Gulf sobs, not able to hold back anymore. "She's gonna take him from me."

Immediately, Mew pulls him into an embrace, letting him cry against his shoulder. It's soothing to have someone Gulf can rely on but it doesn't make the situation any better. He's trapped and there's no way out.

"Pam---Panit's mom, she--she's here and she wants to take Panit to America---I" he buries his face in the crook of Mew's neck, shaking his head hopelessly. "She says she'll go to court, if I don't agree. I can't afford a lawyer. She's gonna take him away from me, and I can't do anything."
