As master Oogway and Y/N walked up the stairs to the Jade Palace, the girl ran ahead cheering happily, "We made it!", Oogway chuckled at the human girl's antics when all of a sudden, she was tackled by a blurry figure that growled and grumbled.

"Who are you and what do you want from the Jade Palace?", a voice asked her, but the girl's eyes were closed and she was still in shock due to the fact that she had been suddenly flung across the pavement, which kind of hurt. Wincing from the pain, she opened her eyes to see a gray snow leopard, with bright yellow eyes staring down at her, well...she was pinned to ground.

"Answer!", the leopard growled again. Terrified, she blurted the one thinks she could think of.

"You have very pretty eyes." That confused him for sure.

"Now, now. That isn't the way to treat a fellow student of Kung Fu.", Oogway said.

"Fellow student of Kung Fu?", he turned back to the girl with a raised brow which quickly turned into an apologetic look. "Sorry. I didn't know. Here.", he lent her his paw and helped her up. You were about to say thank you when another person joined in. It was a young red panda, and he was approaching quite fast.

"Tai Lung! Where were you? I-", he suddenly froze, seeing that his old friend had returned.

"Master Oogway! You have returned.", the red panda bowed.

"Yes. I have. And I have brought someone with me. Your new student.", the tortoise gestured to the girl who was talking with the snow leopard. Shifu gasped.

"A human? I have not seen one for centuries!" Shifu and Tai Lung shared a shocked expression.

"Wait, you're a human?", Tai Lung asked the girl who was dusting herself off from the tackling incident, to which she simply nodded. "Woah, cool. Never seen a human before.", the leopard chuckled. "Hope you're good at Kung Fu, because I want to fight you."

When Tai Lung looked back to where Y/N should have been standing, she wasn't there. Instead, she was hiding behind the tortoise as some sort of barrier between the two.

"Hey! Why are you hiding? I thought you said my eyes were pretty.", Tai smirked.

"Alright, that's enough.", Shifu smiled at the two children who were staring at each other. One, who was scared of the other, and the other, feeling confident.

"Let's go inside. Tai, show her to her room.", Shifu said. Oogway nudged Y/N softly towards Tai Lung, who grabbed her hand and led her inside. As they walked through the wooden halls of the place, Tai Lung asked Y/N a few questions, curious since it was the first time, he had seen a human.

"So, why do you want to learn Kung Fu?", he asked.

"Um...to learn to protect myself...", she answered, earning a hum in return from Tai. Her true focus was on his long tail. As he walked it swished from side to side, and it enthralled her, since she's never seen a tail of a beast before...

She had just collided into something hard, that being Tai Lung's back.

"S-Sorry...", she apologized, her face turning red from embarrassment.

"We are here. Here is your room.", Tai gestured to the screen-doored room.

"Thank you, Tai Lung.", she smiled softly, opening the doors of her new room. She looked around, there was a soft bed, a small table, and window but she felt something. Turning around, she saw the gray snow leopard watching her every movement, his tail swishing from side to side.

"You can come in...if you want...", she invited him in. He took one step forward.

"You sure?", to which she answered with a nod. He stood in the center of her room, still watching her as she looked at the window, her [h/l] [h/c] hair glowing in the light and her [s/c] skin looked soft. 'Do all humans look like her?', he wondered.

"S-So. Why did you want to learn Kung Fu?", her voice snapped him out of his thoughts. Y/N sat on her bed, waiting for his response.

"Well, I'm going to be the Dragon Warrior.", he replied in pride.

"W-What's a dragon warrior?", she asked, earning a gaping mouth from Tai Lung who immediately sat on the floor in front of her.

"You've never heard of a dragon warrior?", he chortled, completely astonished. The girl only shook her head, kind of regretting she had asked. "Well. A Dragon Warrior is-"

They talked until dayturned into night. That was the start of a great friendship, or even somethingmore.
