Chapter 13

I can't understand Ryleigh's act since she came to my room. There's something she wants to tell me but she didn't say anything. I don't want to force her to tell me what is in her mind. 

Umuwi rin kaagad si Jeydee pagkatapos naming mamili ng groceries at ihatid ako sa condo. Maaga ako nagising ngayon para Maganda ng agahan dahil magsisimba ako ngayon. It's Sunday and the weather is fine to go out.

"Good morning." Steve's greeting.

"Oh, good morning, Steve. Tulog pa ba si Ryleigh?" I ask while getting a cup of hot chocolate.

"She's still asleep." Sago niya at pumunta siya sa initan para makapagtimpla ng kape.

Napatango na lamang ako at uminom ng hot chocolate. Naalala ko bigla si Dylan kasi mahilig siya sa kape. Hindi ko maiwasang tignan ang kinikilos ni Steve. Sa hindi sinasadya ay nagtama ang mga paningin namin kaya naman nagbukas na ako ng usapan.

"I'll go to church after this." I said and sipping on my hot chocolate again.

"So, how's your life?" He ask.

"Hmm really good, I'm a teacher now and I'm happy what I have now." I said. 

After that, he continue his coffee and I excuse myself. 

"Wait ah--" Steve's said.

"Can I---" He didn't continue what he said when Ryleigh greet me.

"Good morning, Jade!" She yawn "Oh, where are you going?" She ask when she notice my outfit.

"I'm going to church and after that maybe I'll buy something on the mall. Aayain sana kita ang kaso sabi ni Stevr tulog kapa raw.”

"Wait, I'll prepare first. Wait for me." and she ran out on the room.

I look at Steve and ask him what he said earlier. 

"Don't mind it" He said and stood up then come to the sink.

Noong matapos na si Ryleigh sa pag-aayos ng sarili ay nagpaalam na kami kay Steve. This is not unusual thing for me.

"Why you didn't  kiss your husband earlier before we go out on the condo? Did you fight?" I ask.

"Huh? Uh, I forgot! Don't mind it, Jade." She said when we enter on the elevator.

Simula nang dumating sila sa condo ko ay may napapansin akong kakaiba sa kanila ngunit hindi ko malaman kung ano, magkaaway kaya sila? They don't seem to be married and I don't see some sweetness on them. 

After we attend a mass, we decided to eat first on the mall because  Ryleigh  didn't eat her breakfast. 

"What are you going to buy?" She ask while eating a chicken roast. Napaparami ata ang kain nitong si Ryleigh.

"I don't know." then shrugged.

"What?" she felt confused.

"July 27 is our 1st anniversary and I do not know what to give to him." I said with sad tone.

"Hmm, why don't you give him some putting an effort? Let's surprise him!" she can't hold her excitement to raise her voice and people around looking on us.

As usual, with her arrogant she didn't say anything on it. Pagkatapos naming kumain ay dumiretso agad kami sa National Bookstore para maghanap ng mga gamit. She's serious about surprising that will be happen on our condo.

"Lets put this on the center." Ryleigh's said while pointing her chin.

"Ganto?" I said while holding the balloons and trying to place on the center.
