He says I'm his medication.
Lily types on her laptop. A smile settles on her face. She turns off her laptop, she's still quite forgetful these days, but it seems to be getting better after she started her journal. She takes a sip of her lemon earl grey tea, the scent of earl grey spreads throughout her mouth, warming up her body.
Andrew is away today, he said he will be away for a couple days for a commercial.
Lily looks around the apartment, the room seems to have grown.
Was it always so large?
Lily thinks to herself, maybe she needs to get more furniture.
"I think this would look great in your room." Susan points to a gray tea table.
Lily looks at it and frowns, "No, not gray."
"Oh yeah, I forgot you decided to go colorful."
"I think I will get this!" Lily excitedly points to a neon pink abstract statue.
"What is this, I don't even..."
"I'm getting this," Lily states.
"It's your home." Susan shrugs her shoulders and smiles.
Lily looks around her apartment, scanning for the perfect spot to place her new addition to the room. She places the neon pink statue right beside the sofa and lies down beside it. She runs her finger along the silhouette of her statue.
She doesn't know when she fell asleep. When she wakes up, she sees a pair of eyes looking at her.
"When did you come back?" she asks, sitting up and rubbing her eyes.
"Why didn't you wake me up?" Lily says, stretching out her arms.
"You were asleep."
Lily smiles, "Yeah, I guess I was really tired. Couldn't really sleep much these couple days."
He gets on the couch and lies down, resting his head on her lap. Lily jumps a little.
"Shhh, don't move," Andrew says before Lily could say a word. "I just need a couple minutes."
Lily freezes in her position, not sure where to place her hands.
Time seems to have frozen as well. Lily just sits there watching Andrew's face as his chest moves up and down.
"Nice statue, by the way," Andrew suddenly speaks, startling Lily a bit.
"I got it today with Susan," she pauses, "it reminded me of you."
He opens his eyes, lifts his head up and presses his lips on to Lily's.
