after a hectic yet accomplishing day, mark went home with haechan. both of them filled in the other of how their day went. mark was delighted that haechan had a fun time with the nct hyungs. it suddenly reminded him of when he was only little, he was also treated like that but unlike haechan, he did not ask being an errand boy of theirs.
the couple was seated on the sofa, eating fast-food while chatting with one another.
haechan laughed, "i even embarrassed ten-hyung"
"you did?" mark replied, quite shocked.
"though in the end, he did land a dinner date with johnny-hyung," haechan wiped his nonexistent tear.
mark cleared his throat which changed the uplifting atmosphere into something more serious.
"yesterday.. you know, when i went out of the office.."
"when you went back to the dorms? what about it?" said haechan while chewing a big chunk of his burger.

"congrats," haechan devoured his burger and had a hard time chewing it.
mark shook his head because of the mocking remark, "turns out yenwoo stole it"
"so what are you going to do now?"
"have a decent talk with her as to why she would do something like that and if she denies her act of theft, i'm going to tell the whole student body of what she's done to me and let them take care of the rest"
mark continued, "and regarding that anonymous account that has been circulating photos of us without our consent and has been harassing you for quite awhile now, i figured it's the same person who stole my phone"
haechan questioned, "why do you think that?"
"because she posted a screenshot of our conversation through chats that can only be seen by either using your phone or mine"
"all this talking and speculating is making me thirsty. can you go get me a glass of coke, please?" haechan said in a cutesy voice to both annoy mark and gain charm points.
"you're lucky that i love you," mark said carelessly as he stood up and went on his way to the kitchen.
haechan was clearly taken aback by the words because this is the first time mark said the L word to him. or maybe he has heard this before? his mind is in panic right now and he couldn't stop himself from feeling so happy. as soon as he heard mark's footsteps, he tried hard to maintain a nonchalant face.
"here you go," mark said as he gave the glass to donghyuck. kissing the latter's forehead before going to bed.
