Prompt 1

Prompt: Murdoc and 2D unable to sleep after watching a horror movie, but neither will admit that the movie scared them.

Murdoc turned off the tv as the credits were rolling. They both sat there, pretty shook. The light of the tv disappeared, making the room extremely dark. Stuart was spooked by this, as he couldn't see what was around him or even what was behind him. Murdoc also wasn't content with the darkness. "That was...good." Stuart said, looking around in the dark, slightly paranoid. "Yeah, not bad." Murdoc replied casually. "Can...you turn the tv back on?" Stuart asked. He curled himself up on the couch. "Why? We need to go to bed..." "I don't know...I'm not tired." Murdoc sighed "You told me you were really tired before I started the movie." 2D looked to the side, guessing that's where Murdoc is, "Well you don't sound too tired either." They were quiet for a moment. "I bet if I go to bed I will be." "Can you just turn the tv back on? I'll stay up just for a half on hour or something." 2D whined. "Oh my god, what are you? Scared? Don't like being in the dark?" Murdoc sounded irritated even though he felt the same. "What? No! I watch scary movies all the time! This is nothing new to me." "Okay, then why do you want the tv on?" 2D sighed, trying not to sound desperate in his voice for some light. "Because! I told you, I'm not tired! Plus, I just want some light..." 2D was curious on why Murdoc was still there, they usually wouldn't be talking for this long. And if Murdoc really was as tired as he claimed himself to be, he usually would just leave Stuart to fend for himself, but he stayed. Murdoc stayed because having someone else to talk to, even though it was arguing, was a little comforting because he knew that there was someone there with him because he didn't like the dark either at the moment. So 2D's curiosity got the best of him and he blurted "Why are you still here? Aren't you so tired?" Murdoc was silent for a few seconds. "I guess the movie kinda woke me up." Murdoc said, and he sat back down on the couch and turned the tv on. "Just stay up for a few more minutes yeah?" Murdoc asked. "Yeah, just to get my mind on something else." Stuart replied. "Yeah, me too."
