Prompt: Murdoc getting to go back in time and change something bad that happened in their past with 2D.

"Do you ever wonder what it would be like if you had your normal eyes again?" An interviewer asked 2D, when Murdoc and Russel were present. 2D looked down slightly, "I- uhm, well... I g-guess? Sometimes." Murdoc got a huge pain of guilt at the level of hurt in his voice. Russel just crossed his arms and Murdoc knew he was looking at him. After a few more questions to all of them and they start going to leave, 2D seemed more conscious about his eyes all of the sudden, looking down or squinting them to hide them a little better. Even though, he was known for his interesting eyes. This, of course, killed Murdoc even more. But then, he was the pretty boy, and many people loved his eyes, so Murdoc should feel proud they he made such an icon. But again, 2D looked quite hurt and self-conscious. He was already self-conscious to begin with, but it was pretty bad now. Murdoc was expecting Russel to say something, but he didn't, he just went to go pick up Noodle who was being with friends at a park. 2D didn't say anything to him either, just a light smile before he went into his room. Murdoc felt nauseous and tired from his emotions, so he decided to go to sleep. He went into his room and into his bed, his body relaxing slightly from not moving around. They walked and stood a lot with the interviewers. It wasn't long before Murdoc feel asleep.

After a while, he had a dream, or so he thought. He was back in his old car, hearing chattering and chuckling from people in the car. He looked around and saw a few of his older friends, and then he remembered what was happening. The memory. He asked stupidly, "What's today again?" To one of his friends. Which one of them replied "August 15, why?" Oh shit. He hadn't hit Stuart yet, which was a good sign, but he was wondering why he could control his dream, so, differently. He was fully in control, like a lucid dream. But everything feels too real, all the details, everything. His instincts lead him to drive the same way he did the first time, to have the same mindset as the first time, to crash his car into the place steal the keyboards. But then his mind snapped back to reality when he was going around 130 miles per hour to the front window. Murdoc gasped and hit the brake so hard he was skidding. The car stopped suddenly. All of his friends flung forward because none of them were wearing seatbelts. Murdoc stared at the window, seeing a blue haired man blocking his face with his arms and hands, then letting them down slowly as he saw the car stop. Murdoc and Stuart shared a stare for a moment, before Stuart shook his head and walked away to help a customer. Murdoc watched him and smiled, getting yelled at by his friends, wondering why he stopped. The sounds of yelling and the feeling of the car steering wheel in his hands started to fade away...

Murdoc jolted awake. He was in a new environment, completely. His bed was different, and even his room. Murdoc wondered if this was another dream. He got up slowly and realized he was even wearing different clothes. He went around the new place and saw that everything was different. "2D?" He called. "Russel?" "Noodle?" No response. Murdoc looked around some more, finding a key on the kitchen counter. The key had a tag, and the tag read ALTONRIDGE APARTMENTS #206. Murdoc felt kind of lucky since he at least had an apartment. He didn't think he would get this far. His 'apartment' was completely empty, and it just housed him. Then he thought back to his dream, or, memory. He grabbed his keys and sped walked out of his apartment, hoping he had a car. Which, he did, that he still recognized. He somehow still had the geep, which he got into and he went down to where Stuart used to work. He walked into the store, looking eerily familiar. "Ello, welcome, can I help you?" The voice spooked Murdoc as he looked to his side. There was Stuart, smiling with his blue hair, no missing teeth, and...perfect eyes. Murdoc just stared for a moment, as he hadn't seen him with those eyes. "Sir?" Stuart asked. Murdoc snapped out of it, "Oh, no, I'm fine, thanks." He nodded and went away. Murdoc watched him as he ruffled his hair, showing discomfort. He probably thought he was staring because of his hair, which wasn't true, since he'd seen that hair for a long time. Murdoc walked around the store before leaving without buying anything, since he didn't bring any money with him. "Have a nice day!" Stuart said, waving. Murdoc looked back "You too, oh also, I like your eyes." And walked out. Stuart sat there, slightly dumbfounded, but he was glad that he was complimented on something other than his hair. He smiled at the thought. Didn't he recognize that voice somewhere?
