Nightmare sat on his throne while reading a book. I couldn't tell what the book was about but it must be interesting enough for him to not take his eyes off even though we definitely didn't show up discreetly.

I looked at Error he seemed very unamused by the way Nightmare didn't react to there presence, but he definitely wasn't going to say anything. I looked back at Nightmare and decided to finally speak up. It wouldn't matter anyways since this form won't exactly kill me. It will just make me lose some progress. "Hello Nightmare." I said calmly. Error looked at me like I had just killed his parents in front of him, while Nightmare just looked up, slightly amused by my actions. He was definitely intrigued. This could be useful.

"Let go of her Error." Nightmare commanded. Error immediately dropped my arm, letting it fall limp to my side. Maybe he was holding it tighter than I realized, it's hard to tell since I'm still getting used to this body.

Nightmare finally closed his book after marking the page, how? It's unclear. He sat up and looked into my empty eyes. He shouldn't be able to read my mind and he shouldn't be able to tell what I'm feeling by looking at me either. Good. Although the emotion part is pretty much useless, but he can only truly feel negativity so as long as I control those emotions I should be fine. Nightmare keeps looking into my eyes, the longer he stares the more frustrated he gets. "You might as well stop staring. It's obviously getting you nowhere. Besides, I mean no harm." I said. Nightmare looked at me weirdly and then finally stopped staring at me.

"Bring her to the dungeon, I will question her later." Nightmare ordered. Error grabbed my arm again and started dragging me out of the throne room. I tried to walk as fast as him but he was taller than me and had more experience walking fast. Also, like I've previously stated, I'm still getting used to this body.

After lots of twists and turns we finally are in front of door with a sign that says, "Dungeon". They really wanted to make that clear, I mentally rolled my eyes. Error opened the door and we started walking down the narrow hallway. We passed by dozens of prison cells and all of them were filled with at least one person. Until we finally stoped in front of an empty one.

It was nicer than I expected. There was a reasonably sized bed and it actually looked rather comfy. There was even a little bathroom stall so that you had some privacy. It was still dark and musky and you could sometimes get a whiff of blood but that was easily ignorable.

Error didn't even have to do anything, I gracefully walked in and sat on the bed. He looked at me weirdly and then quickly shut and locked the cell door. Now I have some time to think to myself.

I decided to check out the items I gathered from Dreamtale. I had a stuffed animal that looked like a bear that I found by the remains of the Tree of Feelings. I probably shouldn't give this to him right away. I don't want him to get any clues of what I'm doing. Maybe if I take it out and pretend it's mine? If he has some sort of reaction then that should be all I need to know about the nostalgia this animal could bring. Next I have a book that I found near the tree. It barely had a scratch on it so I assume that he decided to spare the item. I'm hoping to find the direct reason. The next item is a charm bracelet that I found by a pond. It was an odd place to find such a thing, but the fact that the pond was still there was also sort of weird. The bracelet had a crescent moon charm on it, the fact that the village wanted nothing to do with Nightmare or things he represents tells me that this must have belonged to him or someone important to him. The reason why I had to find these items is because they will make this whole thing a lot easier. If he shows any attachment to these items than it will show that there is a part of him that can feel. Even if the original Nightmare is supposedly dead. It also could lead me down a straight path that will let me access the code that once was the original Nightmare.

I put the items back in my inventory and lay down on the bed. I guess I'll have to wait for Nightmare to come down here before I can do anything else. I'm feeling awfully tired though. Maybe it's a side effect from using so much energy while in a new body, maybe it's because I didn't sleep while in Dreamtale, or perhaps it's just because this bed is starting to feel really comfy...^^
