We Meet Again

Hey so here the other fanfic I promise hehe I hope it's good

Note: Hello,, I'm finally working on fixing grammar, spelling and anything else that needs to be worked on, so hopefully it's more enjoyable to read :D

I will put a note up at the end of chapter to where I have edited up to, as I may change a few things - nothing major but I may just add a scene to make the story flow better,, enjoy!

"Job experience will be starting this September, so if you want to increase the chances of getting into the school you wish........ you apply already....... this is an internship........ some schools will pay you.........Ms. Hofferson are you listening!"

I look up "ah...yeah, sorry."

She kept going as I kept dosing off, the bell went after it felt like an eternity.

"See you in January" My professor said as the class left.

I meet up with Ruff after class, she was at our dorm room to pack but...

"I'm here Ruff, do you have everything packed?" I call out as I come in.

The dorm was small, but it was fine for us. Its small, but enough room for us two. I normally kept it clean, but since we have been packing for the past two days, it's been a mess. Well it wasnt as bad this morning as I felt.

"Don't mind the mess Astrid" I heard Ruff voice say in the bathroom. "So, you finished your last class?"

"Yeah, dozed off a bit so you know.." I trail off, picking up glasses and plates over the tables. "Do you think you'll be ready in an hour?"

"Probably" I start washing the glasses and plates. "So Berk, it's been a while" I raise an eyebrow even though I know she can't see it.

"What about it?" She comes out plating her hair. "Well, you could go anywhere for your internship and you choose to go back to Berk, seems like a waste."

"Have you forgotten we are still in collage and I'm being paid minimum wage, I doubt I could pay accommodation and everything" I can feel her nod.

She stays standing next to the door frame of the bathroom "Astrid, have you kept in contact with Hiccup?"

I look at her, she never mentioned Hiccup, she teased him a lot when we were younger but never seem to want to keep in contact with him after he transferred.

"Why are you suddenly asking?" I wait a second "No, did something happen?" She shrugged, "Not that I know of, just Tuff went back a week ago."

I nodded, Tuff went back as they got news that Ruff Dad collapsed, but Tuff was able to go as the where he went was closer.

"Well, he said he saw Hiccup and he looked different" I just gave her a blank look. "Like he's gotten better looking" I just stare at her "and Tuff thinks he's a teacher at the school."

"I'm not setting you up with a guy you teased until the last moment you saw him" She looked like she was going to say something but I cut her off before she can start.

"Also I never really talked to him back in school-" "But you where nice to him, and talked to him in class" I glare at her.

"Only in class and only if we needed to, I'm not going to be wingman" "Ah, you'll be a wingwoman" I just go back doing the dishes. "Right got my answer" she mumbled as she walks off and gets her bags ready.

I dropped Ruff at her uncles, at another city to the way to Berk. I end up arriving to Berk when it was dark, I park into the house.

"Dad, Mam, I'm home" I shout as I walk in. I see the TV on and walk in.

"Astrid, come in leave your bags there. I'll help you bring them up later"

I sit down on the floor next to her as she takes my hair out of the ponytail, and just rests her hand on my head. "Where dad?" I mumble as I felt more comfortable with the feeling of having mam around after so long.

"He's in the kitchen, he just went in to get popcorn" I nodded.

"How collage and Rachael?"

"Good, Ruffnut fine, she with her uncles. Her dad fine, by the way, just stress got at him."

"That's good, hopefully he learns to take it easy."

"Astrid, how the girl doing?" I look up and see Dad at the door. "Living" he noded, "thats a good sign ain't it? Honey, here." He hands mam the popcorn and sits down next to her, on the opposite side of her.

"So how long are you down?"

"Two months, in Berk High amd a month off and then im heading back."

"Berk High?" I nodded "There a good looking guy there" I look at my dad blankly "I'm just saying, I think you know him."

I think of what Ruff said this morning, "Hiccup?"

"No, another man, he's mature, a lovely guy, still a bit shy though" Mam said "Hiccup though? Why?"

"Ruff asked about him, like he got plastic surgery or something."

Dad starts opening his mouth, me and mam raise our hands. "Wasn't going to say anything" I heard him mumble as he slouched back, looking at the TV.

"Sure"
"Hm, okay Honey."

"Being threatened by my daughter and wife for a random good looking guy, I swear." I hear him mumble.

Not the best start, but I never did something like this so give me a break 😅
