Mrs. Garber is our math teacher so she gave us homework that we should pass tomorrow. As soon as the class ended after our P.E class, which I want to say that I hate exercising the most, I quickly made my pace out of the room without telling everyone. Jake said that they will hang out in Asphalto's sushi bar again so I made a way first because he might drag me with them. I stopped at an ATM vestibule to withdraw some money that I needed for the expense on the weekends. My Aunt Sherna was sending me money to support myself and she has to do that until I turn eighteen, my parents never left me just a little inheritance or at least monthly support and I don't want them to do that for me... but to be honest, I am so grateful to my aunt. She seemed like she needs to take responsibility for me since she is the only relative that I have in this city. And she insisted that she's going to be my guardian until I turn into my legal age.
I had four thousand and five hundred on my bank account. I withdrew the three thousand. First, I need to get groceries, we are running out of tuna. Dad and Mom would be mad at me if that will happen.
"Oh, I see, you have some money in there, Jax!"
It's Angela again. I never sensed that she's following me. I glanced at her. "Oh, are you not asking me why I am here with you? Or if I am following you or not?" and she sighed, "As if you would care, you actually don't care. You only care for cats... But... let me ask you, what are you going to do with that money?"
"I am going to buy groceries for the weekend," I answered as I threw the receipt in the trash. I quickly walked at the pedestrian lane, waiting for the light to turn to green. Angela was still following me, "Oh... I see." and something is bothering me, "I wonder if the extra money is enough to buy a second-hand guitar, I don't have time to earn but Asphalto said that I need to master it so that we could start practicing with the whole instruments." Yeah, Jake is getting good at drumming, Mrs. Garber actually enrolled him in full drumming tutorial sessions, Asphalto started learning piano and Crimo mastered bass. I felt the need to cope up.
"Your talk is getting long, I like it." she smiled at me. I get confused but I need to cross the lane before it will turn back to red. "If you ever want a guitar, I can give you one. I have an extra guitar at my house. As your guitar tutor, it's my responsibility to provide you equipment for you to practice on," that's a nice offer, I think. "Thanks... but I still have to decide what type of guitar I should have." Crimo said there are types of guitar... and as I listened to it, he told me to have them all to play all the live performances. I am not familiar with this since this is my first time but I made up my mind, I need to learn from the start. But where should I start first?
"Oh. I think you should have to buy acoustic first since you are still a beginner and if you mastered all the transitioning, all the chords, the techniques in playing, strumming, fingerpicking, and all of those kinds of stuff, you can buy another guitar, probably an electric guitar and learn to play it," she said. "But as I told you, I have an extra guitar... and I will give it to you."
"Acoustic guitar?" I stopped where I see some acoustic guitar in the glass wall. "What is the standard price of this?" I loudly asked... still budgeting if my money can keep me alive throughout the weekend. I need to buy more supplies of tuna salad first. "If you want to buy a branded acoustic guitar, that would be expensive... but I already offered you, you can have my extra guitar. You can have it, I have two... so... I am your guitar teacher, I should be responsible to provide you an equipment." she took my hand. "Come on, let's buy some stuff first and then we'll go to my house to continue to practice and then I will give you my extra guitar. You'll do grocery, right?" she threatened me, "Please make sure you would take care of it." It sounds like she was making me a promise so I nodded.
