<Lonnie's POV>

I was quite irked, as was Rogelio. Kyle was just... Kyle. We were stuck training and such while Adora and Catra were out on a mission according to Shadow Weaver. Other than that, she just ignored us. She only ever paid attention to Adora, and sometimes Catra. Although, I do feel bad for Catra sometimes. Shadow Weaver is always so harsh with her, even if Catra is sarcastic at times. No, what irks me the most right now, is that Catra was sent on a mission; even though we worked harder than her- I worked harder than her. It was all so frustrating, but then I was confused when supposedly everyone had returned from the battle of Thaymore and Catra wasn't with them. As much as Adora and Catra had their special friendship and lived in their own world, I still worried for Catra a bit. Adora was fine on her own, as she was Shadow Weaver's favorite and would stay level headed in a difficult situation, however with Catra... What if they had captured her? What if they were torturing her this very moment. What if she had been killed.

That last thought sent chills down my spine. Although I didn't always like Catra, I definitely didn't hate her and the thought of her being gone forever just... I had heard that Adora wasn't back either; Shadow Weaver had stormed in pissed. But the only emotion she spared towards the disappearance of Catra was irritation. What a messed up woman. Only, Catra did turn up eventually. She apparently was at the medbay getting interrogated by Shadow Weaver while getting fixed up. So long as Catra was alive, things were fine. I breathed out a breath I felt like I had been holding in and prepared for training that was in a bit. In the back of my head, I couldn't help but wonder where Adora went.

I heard the door open and soft footsteps. Those were Catra's footsteps. They were paired with another object, a crutch? I looked up and gave her a mental once over. Yup, all in one piece, although her leg on the other hand... She was also bandaged up a bit. However, I really didn't want to hear one of Catra's snarky, biting remarks after I had spent all that time worrying about her, "Catra, if you're here to say something then say-" I froze when I heard her crutch fall to the ground and felt her arms wrap around me. Catra was hugging me?! What is going on?! Then she stared up into my eyes and gave me a warm smile, like an actual smile! Not the mocking smiles she always serves up at training! Did she hit her head or something?

"It's been a really long day. I am so glad to see you again." Her voice was warm and sincere, it felt so foreign coming from Catra. What was going on?! Lonnie.exe has stopped working. I continued to stare at her, really freaking confused. Then, after a moment of awkward silence, her eyes widened as if she realized something, and she yelped, jumping backwards. Well as much as someone with a broken foot could. "Ehem. I mean... uh..." She was blushing and averting her eyes, and it was actually pretty cute. Catra then awkwardly picked up her crutch and side stepped to her bunk. I opened my mouth as I watched her back, but then shut it, having no earthly idea what to say. Catra doesn't do hugs. Catra doesn't smile warmly and speak with sincerity. Catra doesn't frickin' blush and look adorable! What on Etherion has happened to this cat child?! Nupe- I'm out. I ain't doin this right now. After stiffly turning towards the door, I walked towards the training room in a daze. What just happened?

<Time Skip || Third POV>

Catra woke up to the stiff bed and the dull ache of her leg. 'I'm actually here... In this world... as Catra...' It was still a little hard to comprehend it, as she had no earthly idea on why she had transmigrated to this world. She had Catra's memories as well, so she supposed maybe she had just remembered her past life and her new life was as Catra. Waaitt... Didn't, like, Catra become a force captain or something after this? Oh yeah... the Catra before would have probably been all bitter towards Shadow Weaver, fed up with how things were going and then would've gotten sent to Hordak. However, the current Catra was more level headed and had more common sense? Less common sense? Catra thought about that for a moment before shrugging, deciding it was better to not to give herself a headache.

Catra awkwardly maneuvered to the bathroom and washed her face with water that seemed okay. She looked in the mirror and grumbled about getting a hairband. What was she supposed to do? There was nothing to read- nothing to write on- nothing to do except... walk around and explore! Of course Catra remembered where things were and such, but ever since she regained memories of her past life, she would see things in a new light. it would be awesome sauce if she could look everything over again, only this time paying attention to the finer details.

Catra's eyes unknowingly gained a sparkle as she thought about her plan which consisted of walking around and avoiding Shadow Weaver. Shouldn't be that hard, right? Right? Anyways, go team go! (๑ↀᆺↀ๑)✧

Perhaps she could cause some chaos along the way? Nah, this time purely for observing. She could spread as much chaos as she wants at a later time or date. Catra grabbed her crutches and started to walk down the hallway. It was definitely an interesting take on architecture, that's for sure. However, Catra mused, it wouldn't really stand up against modern warfare from her previous life unless there was some kind of magical force field. Actually, hold up- was there a magical force field? 'Oh my god. That would be so dope,' Catra didn't care how random her thoughts seemed, she thrived on chaos.

She walked like a badass(read: hobbled awkwardly) down the hallway and kept walking down new corridors. She ended up walking towards the locker room which connected to the training room. She entered the locker room and maneuvered around the bench before making her way to the door. She opened it and saw Lonnie, Rogelio, and Kyle finishing up some training.

After they finished, Kyle noticed Catra and waved with a smile. Catra couldn't help but blush. God, Kyle was so freaking adorable! How had she not seen this before! The cat girl had the overwhelming desire to adopt and protect this small child. Coughing, trying to hide her initial reaction, Catra awkwardly waved back. Kyle on the other hand was surprised. Normally, Catra would just scoff and ignore his attempts at greeting her.

Lonnie raised an eyebrow at the scene and added it to her mental list of weird things Catra's done since returning. Honestly, it was starting to pile up. Rogelio looked between the blonde boy and the cat girl a few times with a confused expression before deeming it alright. Things were a bit awkward as they were abnormal, but there didn't seem to be much tension. Lonnie kept shooting questioning glances towards Catra, but said cat girl seemed to be oblivious to them. Ironically, just as Catra was opening her mouth to say something, a furious figure burst through the doors.

Lo and behold, t'was Shadow Weaver in all her... shadowy glory. Heh. #sorrynotsorry. Shadow Weaver basically hissed the cat girl's name, "Catraaaa." Ooo... she sounds pissed. Catra felt a chill go down her neck as she laughed nervously. "Care to explain to Hordak, your failure?" Catra continued to smile stiffly and said, "Nope. Not really." This, of course, only fired her up more. Geez. "You don't have a choice." The shadow woman was basically seething at this moment.

Catra responded to Shadow Weaver with sarcasm, "Well, Geez. Don't make it sound like I have a choice then." After realizing what she just said, she stiffened and smiled nervously. Shadow Weaver radiated anger as she marched forward and started to drag Catra towards the door. Catra cried out in pain and indignance, "H-Hey! Watch it! Injured person here!" Lonnie couldn't just watch this go on and called out to Shadow Weaver as she took a step forward, "Shadow Weaver, it wasn't Catra's fault. There were princesses there. We were never informed there would be."

Shadow Weaver pinned Lonnie with a scathing look. "You were there as well, weren't you. I'm sure Hordak wouldn't mind you explaining how you completely and utterly lost the battle, lost track of Adora, and your temporary captain long enough for her to go and incapacitate herself." Lonnie really didn't follow, but she could tell that Shadow Weaver wasn't asking. Ugh, why did she have to go and open her stupid mouth?
