Remus was sitting in his room on his laptop. He was humming to himself and drawing. He didn't know what to think...he knew Virgil hates him but the others? He knew they couldn't stand his thoughts clouding Thomas's mind and he knew that if he didn't keep them in check himself Thomas would get out of control and actually act on one of them. He couldn't help that he was "the dark creativity" as all Thomas's fans seem to put it. He scrolled through some of the comments on the video "dealing with intrusive thoughts" and bit his lip. Some of them were laughable, most people really didn't like him at all. He felt tears prick his eyes and looked away from the laptop. He looked at the time and sighed as he closed his laptop. 6am. So no sleep? That's fine. He walked into the kitchen and saw nobody was awake and so he started to cook pancakes. He made eggs and toast and bacon. He smiled to himself as he set the table. The others will appreciate this right? Maybe. He knows they don't like him and will probably question if it's poisoned but he didn't mind.

"Woah." Remus looked up and smiled at Roman. Roman was looking at the food in awe.

"Hey bro-bro!" He smiled even wider as Roman sat down at the table.

"Rem...you made all of this?" He asked. Remus nodded his head. "And you didn't burn down the mind palace? Wow." Roman joked. Remus rolled his eyes. The others came in and sat down. Roman and Remus sat silently eating when Logan looked between the two.

"You two are unusually quiet today..." Logan mumbled. Remus suddenly yawned and leaned against his hands.

"I spent the night watching-."

"Remus!" Patton scolded as he sat down. Remus frowned. He wasn't gonna say porn.

"What? I wasn't going to say anything bad..." Remus looked down at his food sadly. Everyone ate in silence when Virgil walked in and sat down, giving his two finger salute to them.

"Anyone hear from Deceit?" Patton asked as he started to eat. Remus bit his lip trying to hold in correcting Patton on Januss name. The 'light sides' didn't know his name and Janus wanted to keep it that way. Virgil shifted uncomfortably and made eye contact with Remus who immediately looked away.

"He's probably still sleeping, he was up pretty late last night." Remus mumbled.

"Probably no sleep from having to deal with you." Patton grumbled. Roman dropped his fork.

"Hold on Patton did you really just-."

"No...he's right." Remus dropped his fork and sighed. "I kept him up all night because I was..." Remus looked away. "You know what never mind. Yeah it's my fault he got no sleep. But you, I didn't expect you to ever say something like that."

"Remus no..." Roman went to grab his brothers arm. Remus shook his head and pulled away from Roman. Him and Roman has started getting along again, and Roman didn't absolutely hate his guts anymore but he just couldn't stand everyone else picking on him. Only romans allowed to but yet here we have Patton making it seem like he's the bad guy!

"You all hate me anyways, I'm just going to go." Remus sank out and into the dark side of the mind palace. He walked into his room and closed the door, locking it tight. He leaned against the door and sobbed loudly. Why did Patton have to be so mean? Why when he did something nice did it have to go so badly? He sobbed into his arms. Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Remus?" Remus looked up at the door in shock. He heard another person speak and bit his lip. Roman and someone else.

"Rem...come on open up." Virgil. Remus stood up and unlocked his door.

"If Patton finds you here he'll just go all dad mode and yell at you two..." Remus backed away when he noticed three people at his door not two. "Or three...did not expect that."

"Remus, you read the comments on-."

"Can we not talk about this?" Remus asked sadly. "Besides...I thought you all hated me anyways why are you here?"

"Remus that's the thing. We don't." Logan sighed. Remus let them into his room and they all sat down in random spots in his room. Remus sat on his bed, Virgil in his desk chair, Roman on a bean bag, and Logan sat besides him on his bed.

"We would never hate you so much that we push you away Remus, I get it it's uncalled for how we have been treating you but we...we would never hate you." Roman said. Virgil gasped and Remus looked over, his eyes widening in fear when he saw Virgil held his notebook.

"Virgil don't read that!" Remus stood and went to grab it but Virgil shook his head.

"Remus...a-are you alright?" Virgil looked at him sadly. Remus snatched the notebook.

"You know me! I'm intrusive thoughts Virgil, no I'm not okay." Remus slammed the book closed and held it in his arms firmly against his chest.

"That's not what I meant..." Virgil looked at the closed laptop.

"Virgil-." Virgil opened the laptop.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME REMUS!" Virgil stormed out of the room angrily. Roman looked at Remus and Remus just backed away.

"I-I didn't mean to upset him I-I its just nobody was supposed to see any of that." Remus was shaking now as Roman went over to the open laptop.

"Remus what the hell is this..." Roman looked over at Remus.

"I thought you all hated me..." Remus looked away. Logan walked over and closed the laptop.

"It was very wrong of Virgil to go through your things I'm sorry Remus." Logan looked at Roman. "We can leave if you wish." Remus held the notebook closer to his chest and nodded.

"Please..." Remus looked away as they both left the room. He fell to the ground and sobbed. They weren't supposed to see that drawing and Virgil wasn't supposed to read his journal. He opened the journal to the note Virgil had read.

I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I know I'm disgusting and I know you would never fucking care that I hate myself. I hate myself so much, and I just don't know if I want to live anymore. I know I'm part of Thomas but what does he need me for anyways. Nobody likes me, I'm too intrusive and annoying. I can't help it that's just who I am. I hate myself.

Remus slammed the book closed again. Why was Virgil pretending to care anyway?

"Remus?" Remus looked up quickly when Logan entered.

"Go away." Remus glared.

"I'm sorry..." Logan stepped further into the room. "But here. This always helps me I figured it would maybe...be beneficial in helping you?" Logan handed Remus the book. He rolled his eyes.

"Thanks, but I don't read." Logan mumbled a silent falsehood as he left. Remus smiled a little. So maybe they do care...even if it was just a little: at least they care enough to keep him here.
