***Roman***

"See you later emo nightmare." Roman smiled at Virgil and Virgil rolled his eyes as he grabbed an apple and walked to his room doing a two finger salute as he left.

"Whatever princey." Roman laughed as he grabbed the bread and some other things to make a sandwich.

"You know Ro, you should probably cut back on all the snacking." Roman raised an eyebrow and looked up at Patton who stood in the doorway.

"Patton this is the first thing I've eaten all day, and besides that I really don't think you should even be saying that it's definitely hurtful..." Patton got closer and grabbed the finished sandwich off the counter, throwing it away. Roman looked at it then back at Patton.

"I said no, Roman." Patton then smiled and patted his head. "Now out of the kitchen."

"Patton what the hell?" Roman backed away. "I just fucking told you I haven't eaten all day-."

"Out of the kitchen Roman, and I swear if I see you in here at all today I will not be as nice." Roman nodded quickly and left the kitchen. He held his arms to his chest and started to cry. Why was Patton being so mean? His stomach growled and he walked back to his room frowning. He jumped when he realized he wasn't alone in his room.

"Why are you crying like a baby?" Remus asked, as he put his mace down on the bed besides him. Roman looked down and then away from Remus.

"It's nothing..." Romans stomach growled and he held it. Remus frowned.

"When was the last time you ate Ro?" He asked.

"I'm fine." Roman walked over to his bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. Maybe Patton was right.

"Not what I asked." Remus walked over to the bathroom door. "Is there something wrong Ro?"

"I cant tell you..." Roman whispered. He knew Patton would just hurt him if he did tell Remus. Hell Patton would probably hurt Remus instead.

"You most certainly can! I'm your brother Roman!" Roman shook his head as he started to cry harder.

"Remus..." he leaned into his brother and Remus held him as he cried.

"I've never seen you like this..." suddenly Romans bedroom door opened and Roman pulled away from Remus.

"Why is Remus here, why are you crying my love?" Patton asked. Remus looked between the two and Roman bit his lip.

"I don't know why he's here, but he just wanted to comfort me is all Patton..." Patton put on his mask he wears around the others and acted as clueless as ever.

"Comfort you because you were crying? You could have just called me love." Patton walked over and pulled Roman into a hug. Roman almost flinched but remembered that Remus was there and he smiled leaning into Patton.

"Of course, it won't happen again." Roman smiled sadly.

"Remus, can you leave now please?" Remus crossed his arms across his chest with a raised eyebrow.

"Didnt take you for the kinky type there Patton..." Remus quickly looked between the two of them. "Ro you sure you want me to leave you alone with him?" Roman nodded. Remus looked at Patton one last time and then sunk out. Patton immediately slammed Roman down into the bed.

"P-please I didn't tell him anything!" Roman struggled against Patton as he cried harder.

"Right because I totally believe that." Roman stopped fighting as Patton tied his arms above his head. He looked away from Patton as he started to cry again. "I'm going to leave you alone now, and Ro?" Roman looked up at Patton. "I'm locking your door." Roman shook his head.

"Patt please you can't-."

"I wouldn't want anyone to come and find you like this now would I?" Patton snapped his fingers and Roman was blond folded and gagged. He struggled. Patton just laughed and kissed him down his chest, and on his neck. He started to cry again. "Oh Roman." Patton ran his hand down Romans legs. "You really should run more, you seriously look more like the ugly step sister than Cinderella's Prince Charming." He felt Patton get out of the bed and heard his bedroom door slam shut. He started to cry knowing that Patton just left him like that. Why was he still with him.

****a few months later****

"I'm just worried about my brother." Remus mumbled.

"You don't have to be, I'm perfectly fine." Roman pulled his jacket tighter around himself. Roman suddenly winced when Remus grabbed his wrist pulling up his sleeve.

"What the fuck is this!?" Remus looked at the bruises that covered his wrist from the ropes Patton used.

"I just fell, it's from the imagination it happens a lot." Remus shook his head.

"You did not just lie to me..."

"I told you Remus, I'm fine." Roman looked down sadly. Romans stomach growled and Remus walked over to him.

"Then take the sweater off Ro." Roman backed away.

"Remus I am cold I really don't want to."

"Ro, take the sweater off." Roman shook his head. Patton was going to be pissed.

"Please don't make me Remus..." Remus shook his head.

"Sweater." He held his hand out for the sweater and Roman slowly took it off. Remus looked him up and down. "Have you been eating at all?! My god Ro..."

"I've just been in the imagination too much thats all."

"And your boyfriend hasn't forced you to eat everytime you come home? Seriously?" Remus rolled his eyes and grabbed Romans arm. "Come on." He sunk down with Roman and they ended up in the dark side of the mind palace, in their kitchen. Deceit looked up and raised an eyebrow seeing Roman.

"Do I even want to know why you kidnapped Roman, Remus?" Janus asked.

"He refuses to eat so until he does he's staying here." Remus crossed his arms and glared at Roman.

"Remus no I can't I have to get back to the others.." he started to shake. Patton would definitely lose his shit if he found out he's been talking to Remus! He's going to lose it when he finds out he's eating.

"Chill out Ro." Remus shook his head.

"Roman, answer me this..." Janus stepper forward and leaned on the counter getting closer to him. "Why do you seem scared to go back?"

"I'm not!" Roman shouted. Janus froze. Romans eyes widened realizing janus had just used his powers to detect lies. Oh fuck.

"You are.." Janus looked at Remus then back at Roman. "But why?"

"Just leave me alone!" Roman immediately stormed out of the room. He was panicking. If Patton found him on this side of the mind palace he'd hurt him...he'd hurt Remus! He can't be the cause of that. He ran for the light side only to be stopped and pulled backwards.

"You are not going back there!" Remus growled. "Until you answer our questions!"

"R-Remus..." tears filled Romans eyes. "Just let me go back there okay?"

"NO GOD DAMNIT!" Roman shoved him away and ran. Remus shouted after him and chased him. Roman ran right into Patton and he backed up.

"Roman!?" Patton glared at him. Remus was right behind him. He paused seeing Patton.

"Roman, is coming to stay with me for a bit." Remus glared at Patton and dragged Roman away. Patton ran after them.

"You are a bad influence on him!" Patton shouted. "He's staying away from you!" Remus stopped and looked back at Patton.

"You can not keep my own brother from me what the hell?"

"Watch me." Roman froze and looked at Remus worried. Oh boy.
