I finished my breakfast quickly, practically inhaling the food off my plate in seconds. I wasn't sure if that was a new werewolf thing or just because I hadn't had an actual meal for nearly 2 days.

"So," Ezra started taking my empty plate and placing it on one of the nightstands. "I wasn't sure if you'd want to stay in my room just yet so I asked my mom to help set up a guest room for you to have your own space."

"Really?" I was a bit anxious to be separated from Ezra, I could hear the wolf in the back of my head whining. However, I did appreciate having an area that would be my own especially in a house full of people that I didn't know.

"Do you want to see it? It's just down the hall."

Knowing that it was close to Ezra's room made my wolf relax. "Of course," I nodded.

Two doors down the hall from Ezra's room was where my room was located. "Between our rooms is the bathroom for this floor," Ezra pointed out before pushing open my bedroom door. The walls were the same light gray as Ezra's room. The windows were open and the blinds pulled up so the room was flooded with natural light, the floors were the same dark hardwood that was in the hall. My bed was much bigger than the one I'd had all my life, like it could fit 4 people my size, with a dark gray comforter and assorted pillows. There was a desk opposite the bed, above it a mirror was mounted to the wall, and various body care products were placed on top of the desk. Next to the desk, was a wide dark wood dresser, "My mom and the twins did some shopping for you so you'd have clothes to wear until we were able to go out together."

"When will it be safe for us to go out?" I ask apprehensively.

"Honestly, I have no idea," Ezra frowned.

I kept looking around my new rooms curiously - I noticed a small stack of books on one of the nightstands. "What are those?"

"Some books written by our ancestors and held by the pack elders. After I marked you, I assumed you would have a lot of questions that you'd like to explore on your own. Most of the questions you should have will be answered, and of course, I'm more than willing to answer your questions."

"Thanks, Ezra," I smiled.

"There's a phone for you on the other nightstand," Ezra pointed to the other side of my bed. "Until you're able to mind link with me or any of the pack members, having a phone of your own will be the best way to reach me or anyone else in the pack if you need us for the time being. I already put in a bunch of contacts-"

"Ezra, that's too much, I don't want to feel like I'm leeching off of you," I shook my head.

"It's not a problem, Elle. The phone is one of my previous phones with an new SIM card so don't feel like you need to repay any of this stuff. My family and the pack are here to support you, even more now as you adjust to this new life. Once you're fully part of the pack, you'll step up into the Luna role and that will repay the favor more than you may realize right now."

My wolf is overwhelmed at the support pouring from my mate, before I realize my actions, my arms are tightly wrapped around his torso. "Thank you so much," My words are muffled by Ezra's shirt.

Ezra places his hand on my cheek, the contact creating more sparks. "You're welcome, Elle. Do you want some time alone to process all this?"

The sparks between Ezra and I were causing my body and brain to have two separate reactions. My wolf wanted him to stay nearby, but my brain would like to have a bit of time to catch up. I look up at Ezra and not hesitantly, "I think I need to be alone, where will you be?"

"Just downstairs - I'll make sure no one comes up too bother you. If you want to take a shower or use the bath feel free to use anything in the bathroom."
