"my stomach drops when i think of anyone else with you."

~•~

shinsou and y/n had left the bus so now it was just the bakusquad all together.

"you guys wanna get off at the next stop and go somewhere? maybe the arcade?" mina asked and everyone nodded except for bakugou who just shrugged.

they all got off of the train at the next stop and after a couple minutes they were at the arcade.

they played a couple of games and they got some food before sitting down at a table.

mina, sero, kirishima and denki all gave looks to eachother and nodded.

"soo bakugou!" mina said excitedly and bakugou looked up with a very unamused face, "what is it now pinky?" she smirked because he had just proven more of her point.

"you seem in a very good mood today, care to share why?" denki said smugly and bakugou looked at them weirdly.

"what the hell do you mean?? i'm acting like i always do." they all laughed at that and he just raised an eyebrow.

"you aren't swearing nearly as much, and it seemed to have happened after we got off the train.." sero said and bakugous eyes widened as he realized why they were interrogating him.

"oh hell no, i'm not doing this again!" he said, trying to get up but kirishima forcefully sat him back down.

"come on bakubro! we need to know!" "need to know what?!"

"if you like y/n!"

at those words bakugous face lit up a bright red and the whole group burst out into laughter.

"i dont fucking like her you idiots!" they all went silent and gave him the 'really?' face.

"what are you looking at me like that for??"

"oh i don't know!" mina exclaimed, "that you talk to y/n without completely blowing up at her,

give her food when she forgets it,

dont mind her being around all of the time

AND let her sleep on your shoulder today, yet you're still denying it!"

bakugou stayed silent after that looking down at the table, trying not to completely explode.

"you know it's okay to like her, right dude? i mean shes a good person there's no reason you wouldn't."

kirishima said and they all nodded, they were slowly realizing that as fun as it was to tease bakugou, they weren't helping his situation.

"so what the fuck even happens if i do?!" he said "i could never tell her a damn thing about it!"

they looked at eachother and him curiously, "why not?"

"that purple guy likes her and she likes him. it's not that hard to tell." he mumbled and they all looked at him suprised.

he was going to let shinsou get in the way?

"dude, she told you today that they're-" "they're more like fucking siblings.

yeah i know what she said but if she was lying then that purple headed guy would just be in the way.

he looked at me like he was jealous when she was asleep on my shoulder.

if it does happen she'll just get pissed off with me so there's no fucking point." he mumbled the last part and they all looked at him sadly.

they had hung around bakugou enough to know that, that was his way of saying "if she's not happy then there's no point and i'd just get in the way."

mina sighed and stood up, "bakugou i have an idea, how about you talk to shinsou."

he looked at her like she was insane.

"okay i know that's not like you but if you're so worried about it then get confirmation, or maybe something will happen that'll kind of help you out. you never know!"

"and i promise that she won't get fed up with you, you know her. she'd be happy with you dude." sero reassured him and denki nodded.

it took a lot for bakugou not to smile a bit at his friends.

he had never been more grateful for them, even if he'd never admit it.

"let's go play some games you damn nerds." he said walking away and they all smiled at eachother and him.

"yeah!" "let's do it!" "i'll beat you all at pac-man!"

and their day went on as it usually did.

and bakugou wasn't as confused as before.
