"hitoshi, i need to tell you something." y/n said to her best friend.
they were at her house, hanging out since her parents weren't home, like always.
"what's up? you've looked stressed this whole time." he said, slightly concerned.
"i'm just gonna say it fast since there's no good way to say this." she exhaled then inhaled to say it all at once.
"imgoingtotechnicallybetransferredtotheherocourse." she said quickly and shinsou just barely heard it.
he stayed silent for a moment. "what?"
"they think it's better for me to take classes with them and live in their dorms since the villains now think of me as a hero in training and might come after me..."
shinsou looked at her and sighed deeply. with a look of hurt in his eyes, he got up and slipped his shoes on. grabbing all of his stuff.
"hitoshi wait-" "don't call me that."
she had tears in her eyes as he walked away from her and out of the house.
she groaned loudly as she lay back on her bed.
tears spilled out of her eyes.
she no longer had her best friend by her side.

she arrived at the dorms the next day with bags under her eyes just barely covered up with makeup.
"y/n, hi!" mina said as she entered the dorms.
"hey mina, do you know where my dorm is?" y/n said, trying to sound as like herself as possible.
"oh yeah, it's the second door and the third floor to your left!" she said and then paused, "you alright?"
y/n looked at her with a defeated look in her eyes and smiled weakly. "just peachy.".

y/n was now in her room, organizing all of her things. she was going to put up her pictures but she set them beside her bed for later.
"y/n!" someone yelled as they barged into her room.
she yelped and tried to catch her breath while chuckling a bit. "hey kaminari, whats up?"
