Alex Kane, daughter of Marcus Kane had the best life until one day she finds out the secret that has been kept by her father for 15 years she then is put in the box for her secret. 2 years later they send 100 people to earth where she meets Bellamy...
Alex POV Hi, my name is Alex Kane, yes Kane I'm the daughter of Marcus Kane. I have been in the box for about two years and my roommate is no other than Clark Griffin and ever since we have been here we have become best friends. Now I am watching her draw a forest-like picture on the ground and telling me a story that she says to me and her self every day. "I feel the sun on my face. I see trees all around me, The scent of wildflowers on a breeze" Her story usually calms me but today feels different. " It's so beautiful. In this moment, I am not stranded in space. It's been 97 years since a nuclear apocalypse killed everyone on earth, leaving the planet simmering and radiation." I look up at the opening in the ceiling where I can see earth it's so beautiful, though I will never get there "Fortunately, there were survivors. 12 nations had operational space stations at the time of the bombs. There is now only the ark, one station forged from the many." "Or hell hole." Clark then gave me a look "What" "Did you have to say that," she said. I said yes and to continue the story. "We're told the earth needs another hundred years to become survivable again. Four more space lock generations and man can go home, back to the ground. The ground, that's the dream. This is reality." Right when she finishes the story a male guard opens the door. "Prisoner three-one-nine and three-two-one face the wall," Clark then whispered to me "Reality sucks" I giggled at that, Clark then ask them "What is this" "Quiet. Hold out both of your right arms." Me and Clark start to panic. I don't turn 18 for another two months. "No. No. It's not our time. I don't turn 18 for another month, and Alex for two months." I hear Clark say. "Hold out your arm." On the ark, every crime, no matter how small, is punishable by death unless you're under 18. "Your watch" "No. It was my father's" I knew Clark would never give up that watch her father gave that to her before her father was floated. "Take it off" "No" "Hey" "No," he then ran out the door, and I went with her and saw many more prisoners getting moved. Juvenile offenders get put here... lock up. We call it the sky box. I then hear a door open and see a guard come out me and Clark start going the other way until I hear him say "Prisoner three-nine" but someone cut him off a voice I know well Abby Griffin, Clark's mom. Since I never knew my mother she was always there for me. "Clark, Alex, stop. Wait here." She comes to us and we all hug. Clark asks her "Mom? Mom, What's going on? What is this?" I hear a guard "Come on. let's go." I start to really panic and say "They're killing us all, aren't they, reducing the population to make more time for the rest of you?" Yes, I knew the arc was dying Clark told me one year ago. "Clark, Alex you are not being executed. You're being sent to the ground, all 100 of you." "What? But it's not safe. No.no" "Shh" "We get reviewed at eighteen," I said. Abby then said back "The rules have changed. This gives you a chance to live. Your instincts will tell you to take care of everybody else first, just like your father. But be careful, I can't lose you, too. I love you so much." I then see a needle go into her skin "Earth, Clarke. You get to go to Earth." As Clarke is being carried away Abby looks at me "Your father wished he could be here, so he could give this to you in person." She then hands me a necklace it was heart-shaped and gold design.
