"So what's your plan now?"
Veronica asked Betty.
"How about, we invite them for a dinner?"
She replied.
"Isn't too simple for Operation Take Jughead back?!"
"It is. But I'll make sure it's effective"
Then Betty smiled playfully.

"Who's that"
Pauline asks Jughead after receiveng a call.
"It's Veronica...... She invited us for a dinner"
He replied.
"When? Please don't tell me it's tonight, OmG! I need to prepare" Pauline said anxiously.
"Are you sure you want to come?"
Jughead asked her.
"Babe. Ofcourse. It's my chance to be friends with your friends"
Then they stared with each others eyes and smiled from ear to ear.
"I Love You"
Jughead said then kiss her.
"I love you more" She replied.

The night after, Jughead and Pauline came together at Veronica's speakesy.
"Nice place"
Pauline smiled to Veronica.
"Go first, I'll talk to Veronica"
Jughead said to Pauline.
"You didn't tell me about Betty"
"What's the matter?! Is it awkward? Should I just tell Betty to leave?" Veronica suggested.
"No. It's fine"
"Good. Then, let's go. You shouldn't keep your girl waiting"
Then she already walk to the table.
While eating, Pauline and Veronica are having a good conversation. Jughead's quiet and Betty playing with the fork while flirting with Jughead without Pauline noticing it. But, Jughead's not looking at her so she tried to make it more intense. She plays with Jughead's legs using her feet under the table. Still, it's not working.
So, Betty pour a glass of wine to Jughead and acts like it happened accidentally. Pauline tries to get a napkin to wipe it but Betty got it first. She scrub it to Jughead's chest in a flirty way.

After a lot of trying, Betty's plan failed.
Luckily, they're still working on FP's case so she still has the chance to meet him. She's about to leave after a long work on the case when she heard a sobs. When she enter the room, she saw Jughead crying. She sat beside him and rub his back to comfort him.
"I don't know when will I accept the fact that he's gone." He cried.
"It's hard to believe but you need to get through it. Why don't we just remember the happy memories with your dad to lessen your sadness"
She suggested.
"Remember when they told us that my mom and your dad had a relationship"
She started.
"Yeah. I got afraid because of that. Because there's a possibility that we're siblings"
Jughead smiled lightly.
"And when we convince him to spread the lie about your death" She laughs
"Yeah. I've fake my death and convince my friends to help me. And my girlfriend and bestfriend convincing the whole town that they're cheatin.....I'm sorry"
Betty stays quiet and breaks the silence after a while
"I just realized how stupid I was back then"
"We're all stupid back then"
He said.
"That's not what I'm talking about. I'm so stupid............. to let you go"
She cried in front of him.
"I thought we're doing this to lessen the sadness"
"Is it too late for me to fix it?"
Betty's so desperate to fix her relationship with Jughead.
"I don't know."
The last word he said after leaving.

This one shot was made before Season 5 of Riverdale was released so it's kinda not same with the current plot.
