Kartik tucked Naira under the duvet. He kissed on her forehead and walked to the other side of the bed.

He laid down and turned off the light. Naira immediately moved close to him and laid her head on his chest. Kartik wrapped his hands around her holding her close to him.

"Don't think about anything else Naira. Sleep peacefully!"he said and Naira nodded.

After sometime both slept off peacefully in each other's arms.

Around 12:30 am Naira woke up as she couldn't sleep. She looked at Kartik who was sleeping. She decided to drink some water.

She looked at the nightstand to find the water vottle empty.

"Ah right. I forgot to fill it...!"Naira said to herself rubbing her eyes.

She sighed a little and took it leaving the room. As she reached the stairs she left someone following her. She was getting a really bad feeling about this.

Naira slowly turned around

"Boo...!"she heard kairav's voice making her scared to hell.

"Oh my god..Kairav? What are you doing here? You scared me so so so much!!"Naira said kneeling infront of him.

Kairav was chuckling secretly.

"Sorry mama...!"he said childishly

"What are you doing here? That to alone at this time?"Naira asked

"I couldn't sleep because you weren't next to me. So I was coming to sleep with you and papa when I saw you come out...mama I can't sleep...!"Kairav said

"Acha okay..shall we watch tv for sometime then?"Naira asked

"Okay mama!"he replied. Naira stood up. She held his hand and they walked down.

Naira and Kairav sat and watched the tv for sometime.

After sometime Kairav started to get sleepy.

"Baby now go sleep. You seem sleepy. Go to bed!"Naira said Turing off the tv.

"Okay mama I will go sleep with Dadi and Dadu. Bye...!"he said and went off.

Naira went into the kitchen with the water bottle. As she filled the water bottle the power went off leaving it dark.

Naira finished filling the water and went into the living room. She drank some water but stopped when she saw a shadow on the wall before her. It was someone behind her.

"Oh god..!"Naira feared.

That person placed their hand on her shoulder and the next thing Naira did was scream so loud.

"Oii shh shh it's me. It's me Kartik Naira!!"He said covering her mouth making her to stop screaming.

"Oh my god!! You almost killed me. I nearly had an heart attack!"Naira shouted at him.

"Well who asked you roam around the house mid night like a ghost?"Kartik shot.

"You have no idea how much worried I was Naira. When I woke up and saw you not next to me...god...!"he said making Naira to look at him.

"Where will I go huh? I came to drink water and then Kairav came saying he couldn't sleep so we two sat and watched tv till now. He felt sleepy so he went off. I was about to come back and this power went off you scared the hell out of me!"Naira said and took a deep breath after she finished saying.

"Acha fine. Come on..it's already late. Come sleep!"Kartik said and turned around to leave but Naira stopped him turning him around and walking close to him.
