chapter 37 : kartik is angry?

Naira woke up and got ready. After sometime she went down. She made herself some tea and drank it when Suvarna and surekha came.

"Good morning Maa,Chachi!"Naira said with a smile.

"Good morning Naira!"they said with a smile.

"Wow you are up very early!Is it something special?"surekha asked

"It's nothing like that Chachi. Just thought of preparing breakfast for Kartik...!"Naira said with a smile looking down.

"Sirf Kartik ke liye?"Suvarna joked looking at surekha.

"Nahi nahi Maa...sab ke liye...!"Naira said looking at them.

Naira made kartik's favorite for breakfast and waited eagerly for him to come but he was late.

"Everyone is here lekhin yeh mendak kaha hai?"Naira thought.

Just then Kartik came down. Naira felt happy when she saw Kartik come.

"Wow so many specials! What's so special today?And who made them?"Kartik asked

"Naira did!"Dadi said. Naira looked at Kartik with a smile. Her smile slowly dropped when she saw him become expressionless.

"Kartik..sit and tumko jo pasand ho vo khane...!"Naira said

"Actually I am not that hungry today. I will be off to office then!"Kartik said.

"But Kartik..Naira made all these for you!"Suvarna said

"But Maa I am not hungry otherwise I would have ate..now I will go...!"Kartik said and was about to go but stopped when Manish spoke.

"Kartik today we all are working from home. You also stay home and work from home. No need to go to office of the factory today!"Manish said

"But why papa?"Kartik asked

"Just spend some time at home Kartik. Handle from meetings from home okay?"Manish asked and Kartik nodded.

Naira was feeling uneasy thinking about kartik's behavior.

"Why is he ignoring me?is Kartik still mad at me?"Naira thought pacing back and forth in her bedroom.

Just then Kairav walked in. He noticed naira's worried look.

"Mama what happened?"he asked

"Nothing baby..aur um..woh actually tumhara papa kaha hai?mujhe usase baat karane kee zaroorat hai!"Naira said

"He is downstairs mama!"Kairav said. Naira nodded and went down.

Naira saw Kartik sitting at the dinning table and was busy with some work. Naira went into the kitchen and made some coffee for him. After preparing she took it and went towards him. She placed it on the table next to him which made Kartik too look at her.
