( SARA'S POV )
Oh My God ! ! !
I was so freaking happy. My amazing boyfriend had flown 14 hours just to ask me to live with him. Of course, he also wanted to visit my city, see me again and hug me, and meet my parents.
We kissed and hugged, and threw ourselves on the grass of my garden.
*i lived in the countryside, in a village near Florence, in Tuscany*
After a few minutes we got up and I said: "Let's go inside, so you can meet my parents. Uh, don't worry, they speak English fluently so feel free to speak. But without using the young people's slang, they cannot bear it." He nodded. Hand in hand, we went into the house.
"Mom, Dad, come here!" I said. He looked at the house and said: "Congratulations on the house, it's really nice..."
"Hi Bryan. How tall are you?" said my father, smiling. "Um, 5'8, sir." Bryan replied. "Call me Giancarlo!" my father said. "OK, nice to meet you." They shook hands.
"Hi, I'm Valentina. Nice to meet you." said my mother. "Glad to meet you!" Bryan said. They embraced. "You chose him well!" my mother said. "MOM!" I screamed, looking at her badly. Bryan laughed.
"Do you want lunch?" my father asked. "No, thank you. If I was in LA, it'd be 10pm. By the way, I had dinner on the plane." Bryan replied.
"Let's go to my room, c'mon!" I said. I grabbed a toast and we went upstairs.
"Wow, your room is really cool!" Bryan said. "Shut up and kiss me!" I said...
We jumped on the bed and started kissing softly. "Baby, stop. Your parents are downstairs, it's kinda weird..." he said laughing. "You're right. I'm just so happy to see you, now I can kiss and hug you again..." I said.
We kissed again.
"Let's think about what to say to your parents..." he said. "It's easy, I just wanna tell them that I love you more than anything in the world, that I spent the best year of my life, that I want this thing to last forever, that I want to live with you and the boys in LA..." I said.
With his big hands, he took my face to kiss me gently. While our lips were dancing together, he took my hair from my face.
"C'mon, let's go!" I said. I was pretty nervous, my parents had always supported me, but seeing me leave so I don't go back to a place far away from home would have been very difficult, both for me and for them...
We went downstair, hand in hand, and I said: "We have to talk..."
"What's happening? Something bad happened?" my father asked. "No, it's not bad news..." I said. "Don't tell us you're pregnant." my mother said. "No, we're not waiting for a child." I said. Bryan smiled, tho.
"I want you to know that you're my life, I love you so so so so so much... Nothing could ever separate us, not mentally." I said. "What are you talking about?" my mother asked.
I took a deep breath and I started talking...
"As you know, because I told you about it, I love Bryan more than anything in the world. I met him at school and I met his brother Chris. We started dating and then we got together. Then he asked me to live with him and his agency until the end of the school year. I can assure you that it was the best year of my life..." I said. "I absolutely confirm, I have lived the best period of my life, too." Bryan said.
"We don't want this relationship to end like it was some stupid crush, but we also know that it's pretty hard to carry on a long-distance relationship... So..." I said waiting for Bryan to speak.
"Yes, I came here for various reasons: meet my girlfriend's parents, visit my girlfriend's city (since she told me really well about it), ask my girlfriend to come and live with me in LA..." he said.
We stopped talking to wait for a reaction from my parents.
"Um, what can I say, what can WE say?" my father said. "Let's just say we expected it... We knew that you would have stayed to live in LA very willingly, but after you told us about your relationship, we knew you'd have stayed and lived with him..." Bryan and I looked at each other.
"What we wanna say is that we were already prepared for this eventuality... We'll be happy if you're happy, so... we're glad you're moving in with Bryan in LA!!" my mother said. "We'll be sad as we hope you are, but we're happy..." she said.
I hugged my parents and kissed Bryan.
"We'll obviously come and see you, you'll come to LA so you'll meet Bryan's friends, that will be my roommates." I said. They smiled and nodded.
"Bryan, treat my daughter well and don't let her go." my father said. "I'll never do it. Now my priority is to be always close to her..." they embraced.
Then, Bryan and I, super happy, threw ourselves in the pool dressed.
