Hey peeps! 126 Reads!!!!! That's so AWESOME considering this is my first story. Thank you so much for your reads!!This chapter is just a filler chapter becuase I couldn't jump right into the secrets and drama yet to come in the next and so on chapters. This chapter is more like a segue into the next. I'm updating again because I'm bored out of my mind I just finished studying for the day. My dog, Luke just dissed me, so I'm bummed and bored. But enough with my life story I give you Chapter 4...

        "Find the limit if x is the variable and....", Mrs. Marano droned on with her monotonous voice about limits, pushing her granny glasses up her nose on occasion, pointing at the smart board with a ruler.

        How the fuck do I get an A in this class?

         Right now I had my head perched on my manicured hand, my eyes feeling heavy and my pencil almost slipping from my other hand from drowsiness.....I was so close to falling asleep when I heard my name being called.

        "Ms. Kyle what is the answer to the problem I put on the board?", Mrs. Marano says with a smirk because she knew I was about to fall asleep. Bitch. All eyes were on me.

        "Um...uh...", I fumbled as I was searching for an answer in my head. As I was about to answer the question with a shitty answer the door to the classroom burst open, revealing a messed up Everett. His hair was messier than usual, but still looked sexy, his flannel was buttoned the wrong way, and his book bag was flinged over one shoulder.

        "I'm sorry I'm late,", he panted, out of breath from running all that way, "I overslept, and my--"

        "I don't need your explanation Mr. Reece,"she put her hand up for him to stop talking, "I just need you to go to your seat so I can finish my lesson." She pointed to the desks.

        To my luck again, the only free seat was next to me. Seeing this Everett smirked and his eyes twinkled with amusement and mischief. As he sauntered over to the free desk, he still held the smirk and glint of mischief in his eyes. I gave him a irritated tight smile in return, narrowing my eyes in the process. Oh boy was I in for a fun math class. Note my sarcasm.

~~~~~~
        Throughout first period, Everett was finding little things to annoy me with. For example, poking my with a pencil a million fucking times, whispering inappropriate stuff in my ear on occasion, and so much more just to make me uncomfortable and irritated. Bastard.
        The rest of my classes were a blur up until lunch time where I was supposed to met Delila at our lockers as usual. But what I didn't expect to see was Noah waiting against my locker in Delila's place. Walking up to my locker with a confused expression, hugging my books to my chest, I started at Noah waiting for an explanation.
        He turned to me looking alarmed, "Oh it's just you.", he said as he caught his breath. I raised an impatient eyebrow still waiting to know why he's at my locker.
        "Oh right.", he scratched the back of his neck sheepishly. "Okay, I need your help."
        "What kind of help?", a perplexed expression, still etched on my face.
        "With Delila...", he said his cheeks having a slight tinge of pink. "I wanted to ask her out for a long time but I didn't know if she likes me. So what's better than asking her best friend, right? Than humiliating myself?"
        I stared at him letting this sink in. Once it finally did I inwardly squealed. I grinned at him than said, "That's for me to know and you to find out buddy.", with that I patted his arm put my stuff in my locker and walked away to a jealous looking Delila standing at her locker with her arms crossed over her chest.
        I gave her my brightest grin, while saying, "Hey Bestie!". Delila still had a jealous look on her face, as she said, "Why in the hell where you just talking to Noah, and laughing with him?"
        "Whoa, there horsey calm down. I was just talking to him. I have no interest in him whatsoever. Jealousy overload much?", I said giggling in my last sentence, as I saw Delila's face soften and she sighed.
        "I'm sorry, I just really like him you know?", she said as she grabbed my arm and walked with me to the lunchroom.
        "Yeah, I know." I said as I observed the lunch room and found a familiar mop of blonde hair sitting with the popular kids next to Noah and laughing like they were old buddies. Oh right, they are. When we were younger Jacob still had other guy friends including Noah, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were sitting at the same table.
        Getting out of the lunch line with our food, Delila and I made our way to our usual spot under the oak tree. Sitting down I remembered I have to tell Delila about the dinner.
        "Del! I just remembered I have to tell you something.", I said as I examined my "food", sniffing and poking -- with my fork-- the mystery substance plopped on my plate by the lunch lady. I grimaced.
        "Okay shoot," she said sitting beside me with a curious look on her face.
        I told her everything that happened at the dinner to this morning between Jacob and I, from Aunt may bear hugging me to when Everett annoyed the hell out of me in first period. Once I finished my story Delila had this sure fire look on her face that she knew the answer to my problems.
        " Either it's sexual tension or you like him.", she said as she shrugged and gave me a smug look.
        "Sexual tension? And no I do not like him.", I repeated looking at her like she was fucking insane.
        "Yeah  and suure you don't...", she gave me this 'Duh' look, cocking her head to the side smugly, thinking I can really believe her when she says that. I'm still looking at her like she's shitting me, then the lunch bell rings a few seconds later. When she gets up and walks away she calls over her shoulder, "You'll realize soon!" like she's some fucking riddle master on a bridge, not letting you pass until you know the answer.
~~~~~~

         "Hey Lest!? Can you come into the living room? And bring Brinn, too!", my mom yelled up the stairs.

        I responded an 'Okay!', jumped off my messed up bed with textbooks and homework scattered on top, and walked to Brinn's room.

        "Brinn!" I yelled through her bedroom door, knocking on it a little bit more than slightly,"Mom needs us downstairs."

         "Okay!", she yelled back, opening her bedroom door and dashing down the stairs to the living room. I huffed and followed her down, lazily.

        Dropping down next to my sister on the couch across my parents, I realized my parents had excited grins on their faces like the teenagers they once were. Brinn and I looked at them expectantly; me, arching an eyebrow.

        "Your father and I aren't going to be here Friday night because were going out to Vegas with Aunt May as a welcoming back celebration, just like the old times.", my mom started. "So Jen we're not going to be back until Sunday night and we need you to baby sit. Everett will help Saturday night with Brinn." I opened my mouth to protest, but my mom cut me off by putting her hand up. "And there is no changing the arrangement because we already have it confirmed with May-- Aunt May-- and Everett that he will help you baby sit Saturday evening."

        I sat there with a grim look on my face. This is going to be one hell of a weekend.
