Severus purchased a new house in Surrey. It was near the sea and had a beautiful view and a big garden. It also had plenty of room, so each one would have their own room and bathroom to accommodate.
The Marriage Ceremony was simple and quick. Scarlett wore a simple white dress and Severus a light grey suit with matching robes. Tom was dressed like Severus' mini me.
Then it was time for the adoption to be fulfilled. Severus signed the papers and little Tom hugged Severus with whom now shared his last name.
They had a small party with the other Members of the order and then left for their new Home.
Tom was very tired, so Scarlett excuse both of them and took him for a quick shower and then sleep.
- I can shower myself too, I am a big boy now, he complained.
- Oh, that is great sweetheart. I will teach you how to adjust the water in this house then, ok?
As soon as the shower was over and Tom wore his pj bottom and a t-shirt, she tucked him in and asked him if he wished for a story.
He nodded happily.
Before she started, a knock at the door captured their attention.
- Hi Tom! I just wanted to wish you a good night.
- Thank you Severus! Likewise, he replied politely. Scar, I am ok without a story, go downstairs with Severus, I am sure you have a lot to talk about.
Both Scarlett and Severus laughed.
- OK sweetie, sleep tight, she said kissing him on the forehead.
Scarlett followed Severus downstairs.
- Would you like a glass of wine, Scarlett?
She nodded and thanked him.
- Thank you Severus, for today and for your sacrifice.
- Don't mention it, please, you are making me feel bad. I never wanted to get married. Since I am able to provide help to someone, then the hell with this law. We will take advantage of it. Just keep in mind, that despite the fact that our marriage is indeed a white marriage, I will honour you and I will not seek pleasure from anyone else. I will keep it to myself. And I would like to ask you to do the same, please.
- Of course. I will honour you and be faithful to you, despite the colour of our marriage, she replied with a smile.
- Would you like to go on vacations? Would be good for Tom?
- Yes, why not... It is a wonderful idea.
They spent 10 days in Italy and then they came back home, since the new term would soon start. Now, since Tom was considered Severus' son, he was allowed to stay with him at Hogwarts.
Everything seemed almost perfect.
