Warrior - Gorsetail
Gorsetail is a soft-furred ginger/orange tabby tom. He is lanky and tall, with long and lean legs. However, the first things cats notice about him is the fact that he is one-eyed, his left one remaining closed for the most part. As a kit, he slowly began to develop a cataract in his eye, making him not very handsome. Up until then, his parents and everyone had loved him for his good looks and treated him like a prince. But, as he grew the cataract, his parents slowly abandoned him. They told him nasty things and often made him cry himself to sleep. They never did any of this in front of cats they didn't trust, of course. They threatened Gorsekit, saying that if he told anyone his parents and his brother Coarsekit would do nasty things to him. But his perfect brother, who was suddenly much more handsome and braver and smarter, was suddenly treasured. The phrase "You should be more like your brother" constantly echoed through Gorsekit's mind. His parents encouraged is brother to bully him. When Gorsekit finally became an apprentice-everyone was still oblivious to what was going on in the family-Graystar unknowingly made Gorsekit's uncle, a cat that had been in on the family's secrets the whole time. Gorsepaw was seldom trained by his uncle, and learned most things from watching other apprentices. Because of this, he is not a very talented hunter or fighter, but he is excellent at climbing trees. Gorsepaw's parents and brother vanished a moon after Gorsepaw became an apprentice. The moons passed by until he was 11 moons old. Gorsepaw had been wandering through the woods when he encountered a badger. The badger snuck up on Gorsepaw from his left side, his blind side. The badger ruined his eye even more, but Gorsepaw managed to escape and became a warrior. To spare cats disgust, he keeps his left eye closed. However, he has made a few friends in his life. When he was an apprentice, he befriended an immature and bubbly kittypet, a little calico tom named Patch. A moon into their friendship, Patch asked to see Gorsepaw's eye. Gorsepaw reluctantly opened his eye and suddenly, Patch seemed uncomfortable and didn't show up to play the next day. Gorsepaw waited all evening for Patch to show up but finally went home, disappointed and empty and ashamed. A few moons later, after he became a warrior and was now Gorsetail, he was wandering through the forest when he encountered a sweet and curious loner named Bloom. Gorsetail and Bloom slowly fell in love, and Gorsetail had asked Bloom to come and live with him in his clan. Bloom had said yes, and, in his excitement, accidentally opened his left eye. In the end, Bloom didn't come and join Gorsetail in ArrowClan. Despite his past, Gorsetail is a friendly and kind cat, even if he is socially awkward, though he sometimes feels suffocated and unwanted; he often feels as though he doesn't belong. He's easy going and soft spoken. He is slightly reserved (he's fun-loving and bright once you really get to know him), but once you break through his protective layer he is loving and a hopeless romantic. Overall, he is a good-hearted tom. He is 20 moons old.
