Apprentice - Aetherpaw
Aetherpaw is a small tom with a very interesting pelt color. He has soft fur and a lithe, sleek form. As a former kittypet, his appearance is very different from a forest-born warrior's. His fur is an intricate tabby pattern, with stripes an ash grey and an undercoat more silvery with tinges of blue where it merges with his pale white underbelly, chest, throat, and muzzle. Pale white runs down the insides of his legs and wraps around his paws completely, the underside of his tail, above his eyes and on little spots bove his eyebrows. His ears are tall and pointed, colored the ash grey of his tabby stripes. The tabby stripes wrap around his cheeks and over his forehead, around his throat and legs, and wrap in thick stripes around his tail. He has a sleek, long muzzle with silver whiskers. His eyes are bright green with lighter flecks and a ring of orange around the pupil. Aetherpaw is a kind and sky tom. He is handsome and can sometimes be a little naive. He doesn't like fighting or even fighting practice, but he doesn't feel like he has the right to complain, since he joined the clan as a former kittypet. He is one of the clan's best hunters. He enjoys climbing most of all, and often hunts birds. He is lightning quick and has good reflexes and agility. Aetherpaw is a former kittypet, rescued from his home when he was 5 moons old by Jetstar, who was Jetstorm back then, and Jetstar's sister, Aetherpaw's mother. Jetstar didn't try to hide Aetherpaw's past from him and told the apprentice as soon as he was old enough to understand. Aether, as he was named by his housefolk, felt as if he belonged in the clan, even if his skills weren't as good as the other forest-born cats. Jetstar has supported and defended his nephew from the start, even taking time out of his schedule to help him with his training when he was having a hard time. The two now have a relationship more akin to father-and-son rather than just an uncle and nephew. Aetherpaw has multiple weaknesses, the main one being that he is significantly weaker than his clanmates because of his kittypet origins. He has a fear of drowning unlike anything else, but also of spiders. He can act sometimes more like a sterotypical she-cat, and he has little muscle strength. Naive at times, and can be easily confused. Aetherpaw is 10 moons old and is the nephew of Jetstar.
