His house smelled like clean wood. We were sitting on the couch still talking and I decided to get the nerve to ask if he was still dating Emily.
"No, she didn't like that I talked to you out of school. I told her that I cared about you and she lost it."
"Wow I'm really sorry"
He kept talking but I started tuning him out. Should I ask him if he likes me? That's crazy. I definitly shouldn't ask him.
"...so I told her that i--"
I cut him off.
"Mr.paliet. I need to ask you something."
"Um..okay--"
"--wait. I know what your going to ask and I don't want to put you through the trouble of asking." He said right before I went to ask.
"Yes shay. I do have feelings for you. I don't know how to get rid of them and I just want to help you. I want to take you away from all the trouble with your mom and I want to take you away from Akira. I wand Adrain to leave you alone and I just want you-" he said right before he kissed me.
