TW: slight mentions of homophobia and self harm (very, very subtle but I just thought I should warn you)

Yoongi was never the type to get excited over trivial things such as love, but when Namjoon walked through the doors of their bustling office that morning, he had to admit that he was somewhat curious about the events of the previous day (yet, he kept a straight face and snapped at his bubbly co-worker whenever he brought up such topic).

Hoseok had been absolutetly overjoyed when namjoon didn't return after his lunch break. The male kept rambling about Namjoon finding the love of his life and how he would soon get married- the other payed no mind, for Hoseok was always talking some weird nonsense about random topics. And let's just say Yoongi was not what you would call 'even-tempered'. The male's energetic co-worker kept going on and on about how 'Joon must be getting some ass'.

The older, on the other hand, seriously doubted that their colleague was getting any action. He was not the type to sleep around after the first date.

The debate about what Namjoon did after the date had definitely caused a disagreement between them, so when Namjoon showed up the next day he was greeted by many inquires.

"JOONIEEEEEEEEE" screeched Hoseok as he launched himself out of his chair to go cling on to the youngest. Similar to what you would see people do to a tree.

"Was his ass big? Did he suck you off? Wait... Did you even top?" Hoseok bombareded the poor man with a endless questions while shaking him quite violently.

Yoongi just put down his pen and swiveled his chair so he was facing them, his face as stoical as ever. He had to admit that it was slightly weird that Namjoon hadn't walked in with a smile, which was quite usually plastered on his face. Had the date gone badly? If that was the case, then why had he not shown up for the rest of his work day? He had various questions, though he kept his mouth shut- simply because talking seemed like a hustle.

Namjoon sighed as he peeled the energetic boy off of him."Hobi, we didn't fuck. He just got hurt and I had to bring him to the hospital". Namjoon figuered that Jin didn't want random people to know that he had a panic attack, so he fabricated a pretty realistic lie.

Hoseok's shoulder's fell dramatically and he dragged his feet over to his shared desk with Yoongi, quickly eyeing the male, only to be met by a sly grin.

He pouted and rumadged through his wallet for 10$ before sliding it on the table to the smug boy in front of him. "Wipe that grin of your face,  hyung- you might have won but at least i'm not a bottom"

Yoongi immediately hid his head behind his computer to cover his blush. Namjoon, who was settling his paperwork down on the wooden work table, abruptly shot his head towards the pair. "Wait, Yoongi-hyung's a bottom?!" He questioned with a perplexed face.

"No. I'm actually a switch, but Hobi dosen't believe me" The oldest mumbled  from behing his computer. Namjoon simply hummed, not quite sure if he himself believed the man.

After those events, the day pasted by pretty smoothly. Well, that is until Namjoon pulled Yoongi aside to talk to him.

After all the events that happened with Seokjin right beyond his eyes on the previous day, Namjoon had been thinking about Yoongi- more specifically, about a matter which they rarely bring up: his mental health. They had known each other for quite a big chunk of time now, the years went by as speedily as the wind blows and even though Namjoon was sort of aware of the other's struggle with his mental state, that was never a topic he tried to discuss with his friend, simply because it was very personal. Yoongi himself never brought it up too, so Namjoon did not want to be the inconvenient friend who forced some sort of intimacy they didn't really have. Nonetheless, the previous day shocked Namjoon enough to make him wonder about his dear friend and whether he should try to help him.
