Here you are, face to face with the Devil.
Leaning over the railing, he looked at you on the other side of his red lenses, while he laughed maliciously.
He raised his right arm and you noticed his long fingers twitching, every time he trapped someone in his net.

Even though you were blocked by the threads, you couldn't hide your hateful face, but just as much amazement.

《H-how did you...》  You couldn't believe he found you.

《Fufufufu, did you really think you could escape me like this?》  He grabbed your chin as he approached  《I will always be able to find you, my dear niece.》  He squeezed your cheeks, causing you pain.

《Did you like the holiday? I didn't think you would have chosen a place like this. It doesn't matter anyway...it's time to go back.》  He tried to push you towards him but, inside you, you found the strength to resist.

《I'm not going anywhere with you, Doflamingo...》  His expression darkened; he couldn't stand when you called him by name.  《I no longer belong to Dressrosa, nor to "your" family.》

Those words came like a bullet, however Doflamingo wasn't affected.
He had already experienced your father's betrayal, but he didn't want to treat you the same way.

《Who made you think this way...?》  He went down the railing and stood in front of you.

《Are you responsible for my father's death and claim that nothing happened?! I don't want to live alongside someone like you!》

Doflamingo looked at you, without saying anything.
You have known it wasn't a good sign, but you kept yelling at him against all your anger, which remained in your heart for too long.

《Did you want to take care of me, grow me up and then maneuver me as you like? Well, I don't want to become one of your puppets. No more.》  You ended your outburst with a short breath; your body was more free than before and you tried to move away from him but, inadvertently, he was faster than you.

He couldn't foresee the future like Katakuri; he was probably pretty sure you would have done this.
He grabbed you by the collar of your shirt; the punch was so strong that you could feel it pressing against your neck.

《My little Y/n, unlike my deceased brother, I love you more than you can imagine.》  The other hand played with your hair.  《I will forget what happened if you go away with me.》

You were really upset. How could a man like Doflamingo forget? How could you forget?
Any answer you would have given him, it would have dragged you to his ship anyway.

Everything you had gone through at Dressrosa was part of your life, your childhood. You had spent a few carefree moments, but once you left, it was as if they had suddenly vanished.

Behind those sunglasses, another face was hiding, which only you knew; when you saw him for the first time, your father's image resurfaced in his gray eyes.

Many years passed and that vision began to darken, until it completely disappeared. Doflamingo could never have become the person you wished he was.

Even if you wanted to go back as before, in the most unlikely of hypotheses, there was something that diverted your gaze from him...

...with red eyes, which nobody could replicate, and crimson hair. A soft beige and black mass adorned his neck and mouth, but that would always take it off for you.
You hated, endured and finally loved each other. You knew that it wasn't over yet...
