It wasn't long before you and your husband returned to Komugi Island. It was mainly his choice, but you fully shared it as you needed to get away from Big Mom and the others; once there, Daigo was very excited when he saw the city for the first time, especially his new home...he had never imagined his father's house was a giant doughnut tower.
You were happy to see him smile like that and to be there alone with them.Anyway, to prevent Katakuri from leaving Sweet City, Linlin attempted to anticipate the coronation ceremony of the new king of Tottoland, but without success; nothing had been arranged and the sweets that had been prepared had all been eaten by herself during her daily banquets and Big Mom could do nothing but blame her insatiable stomach.
That was fine with him, Katakuri had no intention of taking his mother's place immediately...he was back on his island to think about his private affairs, both as a flour minister and as a husband and father. But those weren't the only surprises. Although your happiness was already fully satisfied, there was still space for another little heart and, months later, you gave birth to another baby; luckily, the second birth was quicker and less painful than the first one and Katakuri had been beside you the whole time.
When they came to visit you, your closest sisters-in-law screamed for joy when they saw that it was a sissy...just as you thought at the beginning, you decided to call her Yui.
This time, Katakuri was unexpectedly protective of that tiny beauty; inside his palm, he looked at her as if he knew he would have never given his daughter to anyone and you looked at him with perplexity...
Daigo was also thrilled to have a little sister at first, until he noticed that most of the attention was being given to her and that made him really jealous. However, you never gave him any reason to be because you loved both of them.As you imagined, Daigo and Yui started playing together and running around the island in total freedom, or almost...one day, you got mad when he came home with Yui in tears and with a swollen, sore knee.
《Pfft, it's not my fault that she can't hold my hand and keep up with me...you are a dwarf!》 Daigo snorted while he was making fun of the sister, who didn't hesitate to fight back.
《I-I'm not a dwarf and you are not taller than me that much!》 But her attention returned to her leg 《Mommyyy my knee hurts so much!!!》
Then, she wiped the red eyes when you disinfected and covered her small cut with a band-aid.
《All done honey, and be careful next time, okay?》 You said it with a smile and the little girl smiled back.
She was four years old, but she was snappy like no other kid and that reminded you of yourself at her same age...during that, Daigo rolled his eyes; unlike her, he had stopped being so clingy with you.
You often remembered how beautiful your children were, when you were alone with your husband; you told him what they did during the day only when you two were in your bedroom.
Katakuri listened to you most of the time and you kept talking even when he stroked or snuggled you next to him...sometimes, you thought you were boring him, but when you asked him, he didn't disappoint you.《Mpf, I like listening to you, Y/n. Your voice is the only one that never tires me.》
Of course, you couldn't help but be happy with that and so you gave him a gentle kiss on the lips. There was always a grunt coming out of him when you did and you were sure it was a way to warn you not to overdo it. Even if he was lying on the bed with you, he wasn't tired at all and he wouldn't have any problem warming the bed with you anytime...well, if you didn't fall asleep so suddenly in his arms.
