Chapter three

Natsu's POV

Me and Gray arrived at his house after a long walk back to his. Gray unlocked his door and I walked in. He took me to the spare room and I put all my stuff in there. I bairly had anything with me because my stuff reminded me of all the times Sting hurt me. Why is Gray helping me...? Doesn't he hate me...? Why is he being nice...? I closed the door that was still open, then I put my headphones on and listened to music for a while.

Gray's POV

After a while I went to check on Natsu and he was listening to music I think. He looked at me and smiled sadly and then started lip syncing, probably the song he's listening to. He then started singing really quietly. I couldn't hear him properly but I could tell that he was good. Then he rolled his eyes and looked at me. "An advert came on." He said angrily and I just laughed. "OooOooo, I love this song." He said and continued to quietly sing. He went a little bit louder so I could now hear what he was saying.

"We'll never get free, lamb to the slaughter, whatcha gon' do when there's blood in the water."

He sang that little bit of the song and stopped. I think he noticed that I was in the room. "You wanna go to the guild, they probably think it's weird how we're not there...?" He asked and I nodded my head. We started walking to the guild and once we got there everyone looked at us. "Where have you two been...?" Cana asked. "N-No where." Natsu stuttered and I mean stuttered?!! I looked at him with a sad face and he turned away. "You were crying and then Gray took you to his house." She said. "Maybe, just maybe." Mirajane said and Erza gave her a really scary glare. "Fine, fine, I guess not." Mira whispered as she continued to wash the cups.

"Oh yeah, Natsu." Erza said as she got out of her seat. She started walking over to us. When she reached us she put a hand on Natsu's shoulder. "Why were you crying, you don't have to tell me here but I want to know." She said calmly. We decided to go to my house so Natsu could tell Erza the truth.

Natsu's POV

When we got to Gray's house me and Erza sat down on the sofa. "Erza, I was crying because Sting attacked me..." I whispered and Erza raised an eyebrow. "Like he does everyday." Gray added. "Shut up!" I raised my voice at him. "Anyways, Sting always used to hurt me and... I... he raped me a lot..." I said sadly and Erza had a really worried and guilty look on her face. "You could've told us." She said calmly. "B-But he would always threaten me." "So you couldn't tell us because he threatened you...?" Gray asked. "Did anyone ask for your opinion...?" I asked. Gray made an angry face and looked away. "We'll keep you safe." Erza said and I smiled...
