A Mother's Love Never Fades.....

Chapter 2

When I woke up the next day I turned over and saw my clock that said 8:30. I was like ''Omgosh I'm late for school!'' I dashed out of my room and went to my mom's room.

        ''Mom, Mom, get up I'm late for school!''

        ''Stop yelling I will drive you to school in a minute ok?'' She slowely got up and dragged herself to the bathroom. I walked over to her dresser and when no one was looking ( even though it was just me and my mom in the morning still ) I opened her makeup bag and put on some mascara and lip gloss. I looked in the mirror and I looked really pretty for once.

        I left to go get dressed and I decided to wear a cute light blue shirt with blue skinny jeans with brown boots and I curled my hair. I actually looked pretty good today which is really rare these days.

        When I got to school I only missed first period which is homeroom. I saw Emma at her locker getting ready for her next class.She looked up and saw me.

        ''Wow Clare you look really good today.''

        ''Thanks Emma and you look good today too'' I smiled at her. She smiled back.

        We walked together to are classes when all of a sudden someone ran into me making me drop all of my stuff. I leaned down to pick it up when he did the same thing, causing us to bump heads.

''Ow'' I said while looking up. I looked into his sparkly blue eyes that were as big as the ocean. I could easliy get lost in them.

        ''I'm so sorry I didn't see you.'' He said  

        ''Oh it's ok.''

        ''So what's your guys name?'' He asked while looking from me to Emma.

        ''Oh well my name is Clare.''

        ''My name is Emma!''

        ''Cool my name is Taylor.''

        ''Do you have a girlfriend?''

        ''EMMA you don't just go around asking boys if they have a girlfriend.'' 

        ''No its ok and nope I don't have a girlfriend, but I would like one.'' Then he winked at me.

        ''Well we better get to class before were late.'' I said

        ''Ok and hey see you at lunch?'' He asked.

        ''Ya totally.'' I said while blushing. He walked away to his class. He was in 9th grade. So why was he over by the 8th graders? Before I could even think about it Bri walkes up to me and pushes all my stuff down but failed and dropped all of her stuff as well.

        ''Ugg look what you did Claire pick all of it up now!'' I leaned down and started picking up my stuff. Emma leaned down and started picking up Bri's stuff ( Thanks Emma you mean the world to me! ) While I was picking up the books and papers Bri leaned down and grabbed my shirt and pulled me up close to her face.

        ''I saw you talking to Taylor and trying to flirt with him like you would actually have a chance with him. Your just a dirty slave that gets in eveybodys way. Taylor doesn't love you or even like you. He loves me and he told me that. So back away from him or else.'' She let go of my shirt, picked up her stuff and started walking to class.

        ''Or else what?'' I yelled.She stopped walking and turned around.

        ''What did you just say?''

        ''I said or else what?''

        Then she walked over to me and slapped me. I was so shocked that she did that that I didn't know what to say. So I looked at her and punched her so hard she fell over. That's when I saw Clarissa come out of the classroom.

        ''Bri where are you? Your missing.......... OMGOSH Bri are you ok?'' She ran over to Bri and helped her up. Bri now had a bloody nose. Bri took one look at me then she ran at me and tackled me. I landed on the floor and Bri was on top of me. Emma tried to get her off of me but Clarissa pinned her to the wall.

        Bri started punching me and she punched me in the left eye and it swelled up to the point where I coudn't see out of it anymore. I flipped her over and I got on top of her. She pulled my hair which made it harder to fight but I punched her in the ribs which made her let go of my hair and she screeched so loud that it sounded like a dying wolf. That's when the principal grabbed my arm and pulled me off of Bri. Ms.Starch grabbed Bri and took us to the main office and sat us in chairs.

''Now don't move, not even an inch or you will be EXPELLED!!! the principal yelled right in our faces.He then called our parents and sooner or later my mom was walking in the school. When she saw how bad I looked she started going into panic mode.

        ''OMGOSH Claire are you ok you look terrible! Who did this to you? Are you sure your ok?

        And that's when I had to tell her everything.
