Ep.7
You placed your manuscript bag behind a counter and went to the back of the store to get a few boxes that was full of books and mangas. After an hour of sorting and sneaking in some manga behind the counter for inspiration, you sat on the chair and started to work on your manuscript.
You took out many papers out of your bag and started inking the first chapter. You started off by outlining the chat bubbles and the human figures then moved on in the background. After a good 4 hours you managed to ink 15 pages out of the 17 you made. You looked out the window and realized it was magic hour. [Golden hour]. You also realized that the rain's pitter patter was replaced with birds singing. you took a glimpse at the clock and it was 19:36 [7:36] when suddenly you heard the bell ring on the front door.
"Welcome to the L/N bookstore! Is there a specific book you're looking for?" You spoke as you were looking at your manuscript. You gazed up to see the volleyball team. Well, most of the team. Ennoshita, Kinoshita, Kyoko, and Narita were gone.
"Hey Y/N! I told everyone about the store your family owned and they wanted to check it out!" Everyone started splitting up to different sections of the bookstore. Shoyou, Asashi, and Nishinoya were in the comic/manga section. Yamaguchi, Tsukishima, and Daichi were in the non-fiction area. Kageyama, Tanaka, and Sugawara were in the fictional area.
After 30 minutes or so, they all took turns to pay for their book. Everyone paid except for Shoyo because he was last in line. When it was his turn, he gave you the manga to scan and a brown paper bag. You could tell that there was a meat bun inside based on the smell. You looked back at the small middle blocker who gave you a bright smile.
"You probably didn't eat right? You must also be tired too! I bought you some food!" He said as your cheeks turned slightly pink.
"Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!" You gave him back the manga
"It's on me!" You exclaimed as he gladly took the book. Everyone waved a farewell to you and headed out.
