"That was sudden. I didn't think L/N-san would give Hinata a peck on the cheek." The setter said as the two were walking to Kyoko's home since it was late outside and he didn't want her to walk by herself.
"I didn't think Y/N had the guts to do that to be honest. She can barely ask for more ketchup at a fast food place." Kyoko said in a sarcastic tone. Silence then took over them.
"..Were you jealous it wasn't you?" Kyoko's gaze went from the road in front of her to the setter with a curious face.
"Not at all!"
"Are you sure about that?"
"Are you even listening to what you're saying Kyoko-san?!" At this point, Kageyama's face had a slight pink tone. Kyoko then giggled and turned her head back to the road in front of her. Silence then enveloped them once again.
"Actually, I'm not quite sure how to feel what happened. This feeling.. I don't get it. Throughout my middle school years, It's always been me and the court. When I saw Y/N, I thought she was stunning." he then covered his mouth with his hand out of shock. The words out of his mouth were filled up with emotions.
"I see. This is it Kageyama-kun. Thank you for walking me" The black haired manager walked inside her house.
Kageyama was left outside. He then started strolling through the road while his mind started wandering around the situation he was in. Maybe he was in love with Y/N. However, he could also tell that Hinata was in love with Y/N. He wanted to beat him.
He had a feeling that he already lost to him.
