"So this Storybrook is in the middle of the woods?" I ask. I tried to look for a sign but all I see are trees. Suddenly I see a green sign wiz by, "WELCOME TO STORYBROOK". Wow, it's such a cute little town. Unlike New York. They even have a cute clock tower. "So this is home?" I ask, amazed. "Yup." Henry cheers.
"Is this my granddaughter?" An woman with jet black hair asks. "Yup everybody meet Shae!" Henry yells. In a cafe tons of different people come up to say hello. I met the dwarves, the fairies and some princesses. My grandmother and grandfather, Snow and Charming, are quite the cute couple. I met my other grandfather, Rumplestiltskin, and my possible grandmother Belle. She seems to be the sweetest other than Snow. But the one person I still haven't met is my father, his name I think is Neil. Emma says I look more like her than him, but Henry is the opposite. "Shae we have someone we would like you to meet. This is your father; Neil and his girlfriend; Tamara." I look at Emma. I thought they were still together. I put on a smile and say hello, but something is off about that Tamara chick. But other than her this is amazing, I have a real family and they care about me.
After a while the party dies down and a middle aged man comes up to me and introduces himself as Greg. "Nice to meet you Greg." I say, putting on a fake smile. "Henry who is that guy?" I ask when he leaves. "I don't know he showed up a few weeks ago and he decided to stay." I nod and go to find my mom. "Hey Emma, when you said my birth father was here I thought you meant as in you 2 where still together." She shakes her head, "Nope he is busy being happy with his fiancée Tamara." She mocks. I laugh and nudge her, "you still love him don't you?" She looks at me and glares playfully, "kid, am I that obvious?" I nod and she ruffles my hair. "So what about you? Your not leaving behind any boyfriend or girlfriend by being here are you?" She teases. "Nope, I've been single for 2 and a half weeks now. And I'm into guys just so you know." I chuckle. "Oh so I've got quite the flirt of a daughter? I'm proud." She laughs and goes to talk to everyone else.
After the party Snow takes me to her place and says I can stay there. "Hey kid I'm gonna go down and get a coffee from Granny's, wanna come?" Emma asks. I nod and grab my coat.
Great. Tamara is here. She grabs a to go bag and before I can warn her she crashes into Emma, spilling her purse on the ground. "Oh I'm so sorry." Emma says, with her fake smile. "Don't worry." She smiles back. "He still hates mayo, Neal I mean." Emma laughs. A piece of paper slips from her hands and its a list of everyone in the town and their fairy tale names. Before I see my name she looks down to where I'm staring. Can you say coincidence? Emma pauses for a minute before Tamara snatches it up. "So how are you doing here in Storybrook? I mean it's a lot to take in." She asks. "Just ask your daughter. I mean from what I understand she's pretty new here too." She answers, cooly. This bitch is so up to something. I smile and reply, "my mom and Henry are very good at explaining what happens here in Storybrook and telling me about those who don't belong." I hope she gets the point. Instead she smiles wider and heads towards the door. "Don't worry, you can trust me." She then shuts the door leaving me and Emma there. "No, no we can't." We say in sync.
"I'm telling you, Tamara is the "she" August was trying to warn us about." Emma warns Snow. "Emma! Shh!" Snow whispers." What? Don't "Emma" me!" Emma snarls. Grandma Snow lowers her voice and says, "Henry is upstairs. Look, I know this has been hard for you." She soothes. "No. This isn't about me. This is about August. He died trying to warn us about someone. A woman. "She". Tamara has a list of people who live here, what their fairytale names are. Doesn't that worry you?" Emma says, shocked. "There could be a million different explanations for what you saw." She explains. "We don't know anything about her. And she lied to me. When she said I could trust her, she lied." Okay I'm on Emma's side but her crazy eyes are kinda frightening. "Your "superpower" has been known to be unreliable, Emma. Especially when you're emotional." Snow whispers that last part." For the last time, I do not have feelings for Neal! That was over a decade ago! I'm over it!" Emma groans flopping onto the couch beside me. "Well, that may be. But if you tell Henry that you think his dad's fiancée may be up to something, then Henry's gonna think that there's a chance his parents could get back together. So keep it to yourself. Please. Till you know something more." She pleads. Emma nods and goes to stand back up. Only to find a eavesdropping Henry right behind her. "So... we're back in business? I heard everything." Henry smirks. Emma's crazy turns to shocked as she replies, "I thought you were in the shower." "Exactly. Operation Cobra's back on. We're investigating Tamara, right?" "Get your coat..." Emma says giving in. "What's operation cobra?" I ask, following.
