Chapter 8~ Producing

It was now June 28th, 2017. You and the boys were now working for your the new album "Love Yourself: Her".

Since you already debuted, you now had your own studio in the BigHit Entertainment building because you were one of the rappers so you are also producing songs for the album.

You and the three other rappers of the group had spent 3 consecutive days in your studios. The others were texting you to always eat and rest.

Your current work was "MIC Drop". Steve Aoki also helped you with the producing because he sent some example beats to you and some lyrics. Since you already wrote the some of the lyrics months ago, you were focusing on the beats.

Even though the boys were reminding you to eat, you always forget about eating and resting because this album can make a big impact in the music industry.

The album is all about loving yourself, of course you can tell it by the title of the album.

You finished the first quarter of the song and you played it. You were satisfied with it now you were working on the chorus.

You leaned back on your chair to stretch your arms. You took your phone to see 15 messages from the members and 17 missed calls.

You sighed knowing they might be super worried, because you read them and saw they were reminding you to eat and rest.

You stood up and stretched and went to where you placed your water container. You drank some of it and went back to sitting on your chair to continue working on the beats.

You heard someone knock on the door so you told the person to come in. The door opened but you didn't turn around.

"Y/N-ah, have you been eating?" You heard the person say. Judging by the voice, you knew it was Namjoon.

"Yes oppa." You lied because you didn't want them to worry.

"Really? I asked the staff but they said you hadn't come out here since we came here." He said which made you sigh.

"I'm sorry, I'm just really busy." You said as you turn your chair around to see Namjoon sitting on the couch.

He sat up and went to you as he saw your state. He examined your body and face. "Y/N-ah, you turned thin and you're very pale, come on let's eat." He said as you nodded.

Namjoon also invited the other two, so you four were now in a café near the building and ate.

"So Y/N, how's your song coming?" Yoongi asked.

"It's good, I just finished the 1st quarter of the song." You answered.

"Ooooo, can we hear it later?" Hoseok asked which you nodded. You also told them that Steve Aoki helped you with the producing.

You guys were now in your studio as you opened the file of the song. You played it and the boys were listening to it carefully.

"That was amazing!" Namjoon said, amazed which the others agreed.

"Well, I couldn't come up with that beat without Steve Aoki, he's a great producer!" You said while the others agreed.

The boys left to continue working and you continued the song.

You were adjusting the bass, and other stuff while the door burst open which you got startled. You turned around to see the Vocal Line.

"Y/N-AH, HaveYouBeenEatingWeWereSoWorriedWhereAreThoseRappersAreTheyTakingCareOfYou?!" Seokjin said as he examined your face and body.

"Oppa, you and Yoongi oppa can seriosly have a rap battle." You said as Seokjin sighed relieved to see you okay.

"Princess, have you been eating?" Taehyung asked which you nodded.

"Seriosly though, where are those rappers?" Seokjin asked.

"They just left an hour ago." You answered as you turn back to the computer and saved the file and turned back to them.

"Did you eat lunch already?" Jungkook asked.

"Yeah, me and the others ate at a café nearby." You answered.

"Joonie hyung texted me that you have been working with Steve Aoki?" Jimin asked which you nodded.

"Yeah, he sent me example beats and some lyrics, and the lyrics he sent went perfectly with lyrics I wrote months ago." You said which the four nodded.

"Okay, we'll get going now, we'll be checking on the others, bye!" Seokjin said as you waved goodbye at them as they closed the door.

You turned back to your computer and opened the saved file and continued on making the beats.

"Hmm, this looks fine, how about this, ah! That's perfect." You talked to yourself as you were making beats.

You leaned back to your chair and put on your headphones and played the song.

"Perfect." You said as the song finished.

You texted Steve Aoki and thanked him for the help he gave you. He said welcome and you scrolled through social media.

You were laughing quietly at memes you saw.

Good thing you brought your notebooks because you have homeworks.

You started on Korean Class, then Math, next is English, History, MAPEH. You finished the homeworks and put away your notebooks.

Since you got bored you listened to the song again to see if there were mistakes.

You heard some errors so you quickly fixed them. You also adjusted the tone because there were too high and too low.

You went out of your studio to buy some snacks at a nearby convinience store. You wore your mask and went to the store.

You bought chips, biscuits, and some other stuff. You payed and went back to the building.

You met the seven boys and they saw you and went to you. They looked worried and you had a confused look on your face.

"Where have you been? You weren't in your studio anymore!" Hoseok said as he examined your face.

"I just bought some food in a nearby store." You said.

"You should've told us, we were worried!" Seokjin said.

You guys went back to your studio and ate the snacks you bought.
