Chapter 22~ Graduation Disaster

Today was your graduation. You were graduating from High School to be exact. The boys were proud, knowing their little sister is gonna graduate.

You were now outside your school, inside a car. A camerawoman was filming you to post it at 'BANGTANTV'.

You were already wearing make up and your hair has been styled.

"Hello ARMY. Today's my graduation." You said to the camera. "The boys are gonna come in any minute." You added, looking out the window. "Actually, they don't know what awards I'll be receiving." You stated as you smiled nervously looking back at the camera.

The camerawoman received a text. "The boys had arrived." She informed you as you nodded.

You and her went out the car and went inside where the graduation will be held.

She said that she will be going upstairs to where the boys will be to which you nodded again. You were inside the crowd with your friends, but you couldn't utter a single word because you were very nervous.

"Where's Y/N?" Jimin asked looking down at the crowd, the camerawoman now filming them.

"There." Hoseok said as he pointed at you.

"Why won't she look at us?" Seokjin asked, sulking.

You finally looked up at them and you gave them a nervous smile.

All graduates had been called behind the stage and you all went there. The boys sat at the first row to see clearly.

"Okay listen up everyone." One of the head professors called. Students now putting their attention to him. "We all know that Choi Y/N has alot of awards right?" He asked as students agreed and made you blush a little. "So in this graduation of your batch, we will still start from the highest honors, but this time, our Valedictorian Y/N will be at the very back of the line. Understood?" He explained to which the students nodded.

As the head professor had said, you moved to the very back of the line, leaving your friends up front.

You were kinda nervous to the point where you'll get goosebumps every 5 to 10 minutes. You felt as if something bad is gonna happen.

You flinched as you felt someone place their hand on your shoulder. You looked at the person, it was Kim Eun Jung. Yes she's the least smartest in your section but she's very funny and friendly. She spoke to you. "Hey Y/N-ssi, you okay?" She asked with concerned look.

"Yes I'm fine." You said with a smile. "You don't need to call me that, just call me 'Y/N' Eun Jung-ssi." You added.

"Well if you want it like that, then might as well call me 'Eun Jung'." She stated which you giggled. "But seriously though, are you okay?" She asked, worry now took over her smile.

"Kinda." You answered which made her more worried. "I would usually get goosebumps every now and then ever since I entered the school today." You added. But to be honest, you were always nervous since last week and you didn't exactly know why.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay." She assured. "I'm sure you will be fine, so better put your worries away, I'm sure your members won't want to see you getting worried over nothing." She added as you finally cracked a larger smile. You never knew you could create friends that fast.

Maybe use it in the future or something? You had been lonely in your life except when you're around either Soobin, Taehyun, or Eunwoo. And plus the fact that now you have Bangtan, you became less lonely. But still needed new friends. You can't only just have friends around 10 to 20 people.

But enough of that, it's your graduation. Might as well enjoy it.

Then the ceremony started. It started with some messages from the school's principal and other head professors.

"Now, let us begin." The MC announced.

"Choi Soobin."

Soobin went up and took his award. Shaking hands with teachers and taking pictures with them and so on.

The same routine goes for the other graduates.

Five people left including you. You could see the boys confused but still clapped. Confused because firstly, they haven't seen you since the start of the ceremony, secondly, wasn't the Valedictorian supposed to be the first one to go up the stage?

You snapped out of your thoughts as Eun Jung patted your shoulder. "I'm up, good luck." She said as went up stage.

And she's done with her part, it was now your turn.

"And of course, our Valedictorian, Choi Y/N!" The MC said with smile and clapped with the other audience.

You climbed up the stage to be met with proud looking boys. You smiled at them and stood in front of the principle, who was holding a lot of medals with the head professors behind him.

"She has recieved a lot of awards. Best in Scientific Researches, Best Mathematician of the Year, Speller of the year, Best in Athletics, Best in Spoken Poetry, Best Craft Making, Writer of the Year." The MC added as the principle handed your certificates and the Math head professor putting all the medals over your head and let drop on your neck. (A/N: y'all I just made up the awards -w-)

The boys had their jaws dropped and eyes widen. You chuckled.

"Okay, I know she's smart, but I never though of her being that smart." Yoongi commented to which the members agreed.

"Never knew this day would come." Seokjin said in his motherly tone (the good one) as he clapped along the others.

"Congratulations, it was literally the best 6 years of having you as a student here." The principle said, smiling to which the other head professors agree.

You chuckled. "Thank you, it was also certainly the best 6 years of my life on having the best and kindest principle and teachers like you guys." You said also with a smile.

"Now that her awards had been given, let's have our Valedictorian have her speech." The MC said and handed you a mic.

"Good afternoon everyone." You greeted through the mic, composing yourself from tears, tears of joy. "I would like thank all of you. I mean it. Especially to our principle, head professors, other teachers, staff, friends." You paused and looked at the boys. "And family." Once those words came out of your mouth, a tear drop streamed down their cheeks. "If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be here, we wouldn't be here. Not only us but they were also putting effort on teaching and guiding us throughout our highschool life." You added.

The audience clapped but were silenced by the MC putting his hand up.

"We all went through hardships and struggles, whether people hate or love us, we can't just give up and throw out all our possible opportunities in life. They can cause either a good or bad impact in our life." You stated. "All of us had flaws to which we were embarrassed of. I gotta admit also I have flaws. But only our loved ones are the one who encouraged us to go further, to never give up, and to always love the things we do and to always love ourselves."

But before you could say anything else, a defeaning sound was heard which made the whole audience go into utter chaos.

A gunshot.

You got shot.
