-Dave's POV-~Afternoon, 1:05pm~
Zak, Darryl and Vincent have been choosing weapons so I can train them. I'm pretty good at real life combat and it just happens to be I'm also great at PVP in Minecraft as well.
Vincent - "I can't decide! I know you guys keep telling me to use a bow but I'm better with shurikens!"
Dave - "You have been trying to choose for 10 minutes! Make up your mind!"
Vincent - "Fine I.... Wait, is that a katana?"
Dave - "Yeah? Why?"
Vincent - "Can I use it instead?"
Dave - "Sure. Just don't break it and clean it after you're done using it."
I'm pretty sure I can trust Vincent with my katana. It's my sisters, and if it breaks or get ruined they'd kill me. I can't trust Zak though, he says he's great at sword fighting but I don't think he is.
Dave - "You all have you're weapons?"
I watch as they all nod in reply. I guess they're ready. I trust that Darryl and Vincent are already good with there weapons but who knows, they could make a slip up. Plus, I don't think Dream can be hard to kill in real life, right?
Dave - "Follow me to the training area."
I don't actually have a training area, it's just my backyard. It's a decent size though.
As we are walking outside into the rain I notice Zak being more cautious. Zak may be 20 but he acts younger. My father told me that true age is in the spirit. Not the years they have existed. I may be 21 now, but my spirit may be hundreds of years old when Zak might only be a mere 5.
Vincent - "So how is this going to work out?"
Dave - "You and Zak will take turns fighting with me while Darryl practices his throwing skills over at the targets."
I pointed over to the targets and watched as he walked over to where I was pointing. I put my hand back down by my side and faced Zak and Vincent.
Dave - "Have either of you used one of these weapons before?"
Vincent - "Yeah."
Zak - "No, not really. It can't be that hard though right?"
Dave - "Zak hand me your sword."
He gave me his sword and I looked at it closely. His sword was in good condition and wasn't too old. Although the silver blade had a few scratches, it wouldn't affect its efficiency in battle. The handle had a nice wooden shape with a few scratches in it to help with the grip.
Normally I wouldn't prepare this much but I have heard about Dr. Jordan before. I knew lots of things he did in the past. He was good but now that he has turned himself over to the dark side... Who knows what he did to Dream. I may know a potential someone who hasn't shown their true colors that could help Dream out. That would mean we'd have to capture Dream instead which is a lot harder.
I handed the sword back to Zak. The kind of sword he had was a short sword. I think if he can use it, the sword will suit him well.
Zak - "So a-"
The sound of thunder rung in my ears a bit. I think it was the same with the others and Zak was scared shittless. I feel bad for the guy. Usually people aren't scared of these things unless there was some kind of trauma in their past.
I walked over to Zak who was sadly attempting to hide himself up against Vincent.
Vincent - "Zak, you're such a baby."
