-Jacobs POV-

~Morning, 10:02am~

I felt my head aching. Why did I do that?

I got up and I watched as George ran over to me.

George - "Did you do it again?! Why?!"

I showed George a few months back. Everytime I do it my head hurts for a while afterwards.

Jacob - "Well. Zak didn't believe me so I showed him."

George - "How many tries do you have left?"

I pulled out the box that's turned brown and saw a number 3 on it.

Jacob - "Three more tries until next year."

You see. The day I joined Zak's server, I found this cube. The first year I had one roll back. The second I had two. Since this is my fifth year, at the start I had 5. But now that I've used it twice I'd have to wait until next year to get 6. Also, George is one of the three who I can't let die. If he dies, I also die, just like it is with Zak.

George - "You can't waste it! The first time this year we were in danger. But that is not a good way to use it!"

Zak - "G-guys?"

I wandered over to Zak.

Jacob - "See, it does work."

I handed Zak his phone and he looked shocked.

Zak - "Shut up."

Jacob - "Now do you believe me?"

Zak - "What if you changed the time on my phone?"

Jacob - "That wouldn't explain why you're on the couch."

Zak - "What if you carried me?"

Jacob - "Does your head still hurt?"

Zak - "Yeah."

Jacob - "There. Now get up. We need to continue training."

Every time I roll back time me and the other three get a headache. Well, I don't know about the third for sure since I have never been near enough to them. I held the cube in my hand and saw the brown and blue coloring it. I wonder what the third color is.

I placed the cube back into my pocket.

Zak - "So, you really can go back in time?"

Jacob - "Yeah. But I'm not the only one who can do cool things like that."

I elbowed George. He can do... Other things... He doesn't like showing them since they always have a bad effect on people. The things he can do are never good. It's not his fault though.

Zak - "Wait are you saying George can do something cool as well?"

George - "Nope, I can't."

He never likes telling anyone about it. He accidently did something to me which he had to explain afterwards. It's why he doesn't do it anymore... Unless he gets too angry. But we don't talk about that.

Zak - "You sure?"

George - "I'm positive. I'm 100% human."

Zak - "You just made me more suspicious."

Jacob - "Zak, come on. I need to show you a few things. George, would you like to join us this time around? I think it would be nice."

George - "Sure."

I watched as Zak got up off of the couch.

Zak - "So... Does anyone else here have any "hidden" powers?"

Jacob - "You'd be surprised what Vincent hides from you."

Vincent is very lucky... I don't know if I consider that a power or not but if it is. That definitely would be it. But while I'm at it, I might as well lie to Zak and say Vincent can actually read minds.

Zak - "Wait! What can he do?"

Jacob - "He can read minds."

Zak - "Wait, really! I thought he was joking!"

I laughed a little, quiet enough that Zak wouldn't hear.

Zak - "So... Jacob."

He seemed serious.

Jacob - "Yeah?"

He walked up to me so he was only a few inches away from my face.

Zak - "Look. I have some future business to attend to. It consists of trolling. So, what are you scared of?"

George - "I could tell-"

Jacob - "NO! no, no. I won't say anything about it unless George says his first."

I watched as Zak looked over at George.

George - "No way. I don't want to get bullied for some stupid thing like this."

Zak - "Fine. You guys are no fun."

Jacob - "Wow, that's rude."

I think that maybe we should train later. I mean, sure we don't have THAT long, but still. I need to keep the peace around here before we kill each other or before Dream kills us. I wonder what we should do.

As if on cue. The front door opened.

Darryl - "Yeah but- Zak! You're okay! I watched as Darryl ran towards Zak giving him a hug."

Zak - "At least SOMEONE cares about me."

He repeated the same lines as before. Vincent began to speak but Zak said it first.

Zak - " 'That somebody is nobody' "

I mean. He did remember that line which was surprising. But then I looked to face Vincent when he looked shocked. He did say that before hand and since we rewinded time Zak knew what he was going to say. Which was pretty funny.

Vincent - "How did you just-"

Zak - "Say what you were going to? I guess I have future seeing powers now."

George and I quietly laughed. This was pretty funny.

Vincent looked like he was believing it as well which was the funny part. I watched as Harvey walked towards the kitchen.

Jacob - "Harvey, could you do me a favor?"

Harvey - "It depends on what it is."

Jacob - "Can you grab the barbed wire from the truck?"

Harvey - "Why?"

Jacob - "We should be prepared for Dream's arrival."

Harvey - "We don't even know if he's coming!"

I mean. I wish I could wait until the future then roll back time to see what would happen but what if I died and I couldn't? The cube is connected to me so if I die it might disappear.

Jacob - "We don't know for sure!"

I began walking towards him as the others began to joke around about something.

Jacob - "Listen. I want to keep everybody safe just as you would. But that doesn't mean you get to live your life in perfection and not have a care in the world. Life isn't like that, ok? Remember what we talked about last time. We need to be prepared. We don't even know if that... Thing is connected with Dream, or maybe even Zak now! Who knows. That's why we need to be ready. It's for the better, ok?"

Harvey - "Alright. Oh yeah, you also owe me that money from the bet. George didn't fall off the bike."

A few days ago George went to the park and was trying some tricks on his bike. I said he'd fall off but unfortunately he didn't.

Jacob - "Also, while your grabbing the wire. Could you also grab the small plastic container of grass?"

Harvey - "Ok?"

I had a plan. A good plan in fact. In my head I have imagined where everything will fit perfectly in place. I know at least one of us isn't coming out of this alive, and all I can do is hope it isn't me.
