~Very, Very, Very, Long Chapter~

-Georges POV-

~Evening, 9:56pm~

I don't understand... Why would Dream be after Jacob? It just doesn't make sense. Wouldn't he go after one of Technoblades friends instead? If he did I would understand, but why Jacob? Maybe they had some beef before this whole thing fell into place.

I watched as a hand waved in front of my face.

Vincent - "You there?"

George - "Oh, um. Yeah."

Vincent - "As I was saying, who do you think would die first?"

George - "What do you mean?"

Vincent - "I know for a fact that not all of us are coming out of this one alive... Clay is coming back but stronger most likely. He's not stupid like some of us."

I watched as Vincent gestured towards the front door. We continued to sit on the front steps in silence. I looked up at the sky and watched the stars.

Vincent - "It's nice isn't it?"

George - "Yeah. I wonder how it's like to live a normal life. Where nobody dies."

I smiled.

Vincent - "That would be nice, but it's not possible unfortunately."

George - "You're right."

My smile faded.

George - "So, you said something about Zak having powers?"

Vincent - "Well. Clay bit him and at first we thought he'd turn evil but he just ended up getting some sort of power. He's been acting more like his old self then when we were hiding Darryl away from the world so Clay wouldn't find him."

George - "So he has healing powers or something, right?"

Vincent - "His body heals himself faster than any human, but we still don't know for sure if he's going to turn evil."

George - "Darryl told us Clay got injected by weird stuff right? To make him this way?"

Vincent - "Yeah."

George - "Maybe it's different the way you get affected by it."

Vincent - "What do you mean?"

George - "Clay got injected, so he's evil. Zak got bitten, that's why he might be sane."

Vincent - "That's a good theory but I'm still not believing it. We should watch Zak to see if anything changes."

George - "Yeah."

We sat in silence once again until we saw something move closer towards us beyond the shadows.

George - "What's that?"

Vincent - "I don't know."

We continued to watch the creature move towards us. Once we got into view we sighed in relief, it was just a raccoon.

Vincent - "You got so scared!"

George - "I did not. You did!"

Vincent playfully elbowed me.

Vincent - "Yeah right. Also, Jacob wanted to get you back from when you poured milk on his head. He told me to do something, so if he asks about me trolling you just say something as simple as: I don't want to talk about it. Can you do that for me?"
