-Darryls POV-

~Afternoon, 3:04pm~

I opened my eyes. Why was I?... I suddenly remembered everything that happened earlier. I began trying to stand but Vincent rushed in stopping me.

Vincent - "Be careful."

Darryl - "I'll be fine muffin."

Vincent - "I'm trusting you won't do anything stupid."

Darryl - "I won't you french muffin."

Vincent - "Also, Dave is up now."

Darryl - "What about Zak?"

Vincent - "No. He hasn't woken up yet."

Darryl - "Speaking of Zak. What even happened to the poor muffin? All I knew is we were trying to get Clay off of him but I never really saw what happened."

Vincent - "How did you not. You went in the bathroom twice AND saw Clay bite him, how did you not see?."

Darryl - "I don't know!"

I tried to stand but struggled

Vincent - "Need help?"

Darryl - "Yes. Thank you."

Vincent helped me manage to stand.

Darryl - "So can you please tell me what happened to Zak?"

Vincent - "Well, um..."

Darryl - "Is it bad?"

Vincent - "Sort of..."

I glanced over at the couch. I couldn't see Zak from here since he was facing the other direction. I'm really worried about him. I hope what happened isn't too bad.

Darryl - "What happened, Vincent?"

I watched as Vincent sighed then began.

Vincent - "After we rushed into the bathroom while you were trying to pull Zak out, Clay slashed his knife around and... It... Well..."

Darryl - "Well what?"

Vincent - "He cut off two of Zaks toes. I'm not sure if he'll be able to walk again or not."

He did what?! I was angry now. That monster's gonna get it.

I began walking with a slight limp over to Zak when Vincent grabbed my wrist.

Vincent - "I wouldn't look at it... It's... Not the most pleasing."

Darryl - "But-"

Vincent - "I know you want to see him but just wait until he wakes up ok?"

Darryl - "Alright. Where is Dave anyways?"

Vincent - "In his room probably picking at scabs again. I told him not to do that but he won't stop. He's going to make his wounds even worse."

Darryl - "Can I go talk to him?"

Vincent - "Sure. But I'd put a shirt on first."

Vincent handed me a black shirt though I didn't know where it came from. It was a bit small but I didn't mind.

I began to make my way towards the stairs after I put the shirt on. I almost fell but Vincent caught me and reminded me to be more careful. I proceeded up the stairs and I knocked on the door of Dave's room.

Dave - "You can come in."

I opened the door and saw Dave sitting on his bed holding his left hand that was covered in bandages. There were a few drops of blood on the ground but I didn't think much of it considering what we've been through.
