the summer breeze
it whipped her hair
so long
so dark
so thick
so tangled

the sun
it shone down
relentlessly
from its perch
high in the evening sky
ready to retreat
ready to make room
for the sliver of a silver moon

her hands
so small
fingers so long
so slender
more bone than flesh

the piano
sitting proudly
beneath the window

tickle the ivories
make them sing
a melancholy melody
carried by the whispering wind

a story of heartache
a story of loss
a story of agony

her fingers a flutter
up and down
the keyboard
black and white
white and black

her hair
falling in her eyes
blindness

everything was dark
black
empty

yet she only saw him

strong
kind
soft spoken
dedicated
captivating

but he wasn't there

so why did she see him

thought that i'd challenge myself and give a shot at some poetry ^_^ (my goal is no punctuation and no dialogue, so this should be interesting)

dedicated to the lovely freyja who has been requesting a ciro fic for ages, hope you liked it!

this was a half-asleep idea of mine, let's see how it works out

happy new year!
